Gym Girl Update No. 705 (it’s been a long week) 🥴

PLEASE READ (FOR THE GIRLS)
I never post things quite to this level, it’s just not my scene. Nothing against it, just I’m a regular workout girly with 3 brothers and feeling confident like this doesn’t always come naturally to me.
After talking with quite a few friends lately, and doing some reflecting of my own,
I feel we all need a slap in the face, and that it’s my responsibility to remind you that LOOKING AND FEELING GOOD IS SO MUCH BETTER WHEN ITS DONE FOR YOURSELF.
I hope you never feel like you have to seek validation from anyone else, or feel that you aren’t attractive enough, or skinny enough, or muscular enough, or feminine enough, or whatever enough for someone or something else. Don’t feel like you have to change yourself for someone else just to be seen.
From the bottom of my heart, I hope you grow and prosper and find love for yourself and who you are as a human. Post the imperfect pictures. Be proud of who you are. Be silly and ugly and funny and cute and do whatever YOU freaking want.
You are always enough. Inside and out.
And you’re hot, so go to the pool.

Don’t cheat yourself (you have no limits)
When you feel like life’s out of control- find something to ground you (you always have choices and options).
When you’re feeling unmotivated- good. (do the things anyways, it’s good for your brain, build discipline)
Feelings can mess with focus, and that’s ok sometimes🤷♀️but do not ever forget they are temporary. What you do today helps build better feelings (and a better outcome) for your future. Take some time (sure!) but I hope you keep going when things are tough, besties.

My recovery lately: working on my mobility, hitting the sauna, and making sure to fuel my body and get my protein in!
