I came bearing nothing but a tiny baby snake plant propagated from the life I had just left behind.
They knew I was coming into their space bruised. Tired. A little bit broken from years of hustle. Not knowing who I was if I wasn’t a salon owner. A little skiddish. A little like a shy kitten with attachment issues.
They could have (rightfully) been wary of a broken person interrupting their peace.
But instead, these sweet people embraced me in all the ways I needed.

Just because you don’t want to cover it up anymore doesn’t mean you can’t still look beautiful, enjoy salon visits, or do fun things with it. It’s all about leaning into things that enhance your hair’s health and shine!
