Hi, I’m Maddy — the face behind Color Chroma 👋

If you’re new here, welcome! I’m a Certified Color Analyst and Personal Stylist. I help women discover the colors, styles, and shapes that actually work for them so getting dressed feels easier and more like them.

What started as a curiosity about why some colors made people glow and others did the opposite, has turned into a business I absolutely love.

Now I spend my days creating custom color palettes, and showing women that style doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.

Recently, I had a client who went to another analyst in Austin before me. She said that she left feeling very confused about her colors. She was given a digital guide rather than an actual palette of colors.

She is not the first client I’ve had who went to another analyst before coming to me. These clients often left without clarity and I think part of that is that they were not given a physical representation of their colors.

Colors look incredibly different on a screen and dots on a page/screen are just not the same as a physical color fan that you can hold in your hands and shop with in stores.

Every single color client of mine receives a color fan custom made for them, from my mini palettes to full palettes. 🎨

If you’re frustrated with your wardrobe, you have to start where you are. Believe it or not, buying new trendy pieces is not the answer to the style issue.

First, you really have to evaluate your current wardrobe. What is the issue? Is it that you keep buying things that you don’t wear? Is it that you buy the same thing in four different colors and then wonder why you’re bored of your clothes? Is it that nothing in your current wardrobe feels like the current version of you?

The answer could be different for everyone.

Before you go shopping, take inventory of what you have. Otherwise you’ll just end up still feeling lost with a few new things mixed in.

Overhauling your style takes some effort, time and self-exploration. But, it doesn’t have to feel like work. It can be a fun way to understand more about your style, your body and your coloring.
