The Tarot Salon is more than a gathering; it’s a sanctuary where magic thrives and souls find solace in the interconnected energies of the universe. Amid the gentle rustle of shuffling cards, bonds are formed, wisdom is shared, and spirits are uplifted.
At 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, our mystical community converges at Ace of Cups, a sacred haven where the whispers of the past intertwine with the mysteries of the future.
Participants bring their tarot deck (or borrow one from us), along with a journal and an eagerness to unlock the secrets within the 78 cards. The room hums with quiet excitement as the evening begins, welcoming both seasoned readers and curious newcomers alike.
Each month introduces a new facet of tarot to explore—trance journeys that transport us beyond the veil, meditations that illuminate the soul’s depths, journaling prompts that weave the threads of past, present, and future, and playful tarot games that challenge and inspire. These immersive experiences deepen our connection to the cards and our inner wisdom, helping us grow as mystics and interpreters.
As the evening winds down, each participant departs with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose, ready to walk their path with the guidance of the tarot, which lights the way.

Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus), also known as red raspberry, is a nourishing herb traditionally used to support women’s health and overall wellness. Rich in tannins, vitamins, and minerals, raspberry leaf has long been valued as a gentle tonic for the body. Traditionally, it has been used to support healthy digestion, menstrual wellness, and the reproductive system. Its mildly astringent and nutritive qualities make it a versatile herb for teas and herbal formulations.

Merry Mabon!
Mabon is a modern Pagan celebration of the Autumn Equinox, marking the point when day and night are nearly equal. It is a seasonal time of balance, gratitude, harvest, and reflection as we move from the light half of the year toward the darker season.
A Simple Mabon Ritual
Light a candle and gather something seasonal, an apple, herb, leaf, or cup of tea.
Take a quiet moment to name three things you’re grateful for and one thing you’re ready to release.
Sit with your candle for a few breaths, giving thanks for what has grown and honoring the changes still to come.
May this season remind us that there is wisdom in both gathering and letting go.

Could cupping be the missing piece in your pain management routine?
Have you ever felt like your body is zipped too tight and does not know how to let go?
Cupping is one of the oldest recorded forms of bodywork, practiced across cultures for thousands of years. Instead of pressing into tissue, cups create gentle suction that lifts the skin and fascia, giving dense or stagnant areas space to decompress. At Ace of Cups we work with both static cupping, where cups rest in one place, and myofascial cupping, where they are slowly moved across the body to follow lines of tension. Many clients describe the experience as being slowly unzipped, as if pressure is being released from the inside out. If your body feels like it has been holding on for too long and regular massage has not reached those deeper patterns, cupping offers another doorway into release and movement.

As we ease into the slower rhythm of autumn, we’re making space for rest, connection, and community. Our herb focus this week is Skullcap, a gentle botanical traditionally used to support relaxation and quiet the nervous system. We’re also welcoming Jordan to the Ace team, whose intuitive blend of Swedish, deep tissue, and cupping creates space for both deep relaxation and therapeutic work.
And because wellness extends beyond our doors, we’re celebrating HAAM Day on Tuesday, September 22. Get out, enjoy some free live music around Austin, and support the local musicians who help make our city so vibrant.
Here’s to slowing down, supporting one another, and staying connected to the community around us.

You deserve to begin the week in conversation with the plants.
Instead of scrolling or rushing into tasks, imagine your morning as a threshold. Go outside and greet the living plants, then come back in to make a coffee or tea (yes, coffee is a plant!). The kettle warming becomes part of the ritual. The scent of herbs rising in steam becomes the first language you hear.
This is how care used to live, not in apps or alarms but in hands that knew how to pause. If you find yourself craving deeper connection with the plants that already call to you, wander into the shop and let your fingers move across the jars in our bulk herb apothecary.
