Thanks for all the favorite summer herb suggestions! I ended up going with a lavender and reishi blend for my first round of infused chocolate hazelnut spread.
Holy f@ck is the only way I can describe this combination of deliciousness.
Try some for yourself this Saturday at Sky Candy’s Keep it Cool Market!

What’s your favorite way to use our chocolate hazelnut spread?
I put it on practically everything, including these vegan “kitchen sink” cookies (not gonna lie, I even put it in the cookie batter).
I’d love to know how you’re using it!
If you’re looking to snag yourself some, I’ll have this, as well as soaps, bug spray, and deodorant, for sale at Sky Candy on July 23. Come by and pick some up!

My office manager and I have been slaving away, working on a way to deliver samples of our new chocolate hazelnut spread at next week’s holiday market. These vegan graham crackers might just do the trick, but I’m definitely going to have to make more because this batch is not going to last long 🤤

Raise your hand if you love chocolate hazelnut spread ✋
I’m gearing up for ‘s holiday market. In addition to the skin care products, soaps, and vegan chocolates you know and love, I’ll have a couple of new goodies for you. Should I add this vegan dark chocolate hazelnut spread (lightly sweetened with maple sugar)?
I’ll also have chocolate making kits, and some chocolate samples along with pre-order forms for Christmas time chocolates (keep an eye out for those flavors here soon).

Holiday nog has hit the grocery store, which means the season is here!
I’m buzzing around the kitchen, preparing soaps, chocolates, chocolate making kits, and some new things too in preparation.

It may be Autumn in some parts of the country, but it’s still mosquito season here.
I haven’t been very active online this year, but I am still making products to order. If you need bug spray (or deodorant, or soap, or So Vein, or a chocolate making kit), just send me a message, and we’ll get you stocked up.

Poison ivy round 6 for the year (but who’s counting). If you’ve had it, you know how it goes: mild itch a day or two after exposure, with new spots presenting themselves over the first few days. Then the blisters set in (and the real itching starts), followed by weeping wounds, raw flesh, and mild scarring over the course of 2-4 weeks.
It sucks.
But one of the benefits of getting it so often, is that I get to experiment with different topical concoctions to soothe and heel the nasty rash.
My current go-to recipe is intended to draw, dry, soothe, and help with scarring too. And so far, it’s been working pretty well. I apply the following 1-3 times per day (as needed):
1 part bentonite clay
2 parts zinc powder
1-2 parts calamine lotion
Hopefully this will help my fellow poison ivy sufferers ❤️

My garden is yielding so much beautiful medicine this year! And the Comfrey was just begging to be made into something wonderful.
I used it to whip up a healing salve for a dear friend recovering from surgery. I infused Comfrey, chamomile, and rose buds in jojoba and almond oil, then combined them with turmeric, zinc, Shea butter, vitamin E, and a little beeswax.
It’s designed to aid in tissue regeneration as well as act as an anti-inflammatory. Pretty excited to see it work it’s magic.
