There’s something pretty special about watching an idea become real. 🤍

The OG Skin Studio logo started with a pen, a piece of paper, and a very rough idea in my head.

From there came brainstorming, experimenting with AI, changing little details, changing them back 😅, and fine-tuning it until it finally felt right.

And of course, the most important part was always there: OG — Olivia Grace. 🫒

What started as a hand-drawn sketch has slowly become the face of a business I’ve been dreaming about and building piece by piece.

It’s fun looking back at where it started… especially now that I’m getting so close to opening the doors. 🤍

I’ve been reading Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, and it’s become one of my favorite business books.

It’s not really about restaurants—it’s about creating experiences that make people feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared for.

As I build The OG Skin Studio, this book has challenged me to think beyond great results. I want every patient to leave feeling like they mattered.

A little behind-the-scenes update on The OG Skin Studio. 🤍

Building a business isn’t just pretty logos and beautiful treatment rooms. It’s hours of education, paperwork, planning, certifications, insurance, protocols, and making sure every decision is the right one for my future patients.

Here’s what’s happening:
✨ I’m narrowing it down to two potential studio locations and hope to have one secured by the end of this week.
✨ Today was dedicated to getting liability and malpractice insurance in place.
✨ If all goes according to plan, I’ll be looking for models to help build my before & after portfolio starting in mid-August.
✨ And behind the scenes… I’m still learning. Always. Courses, trainings, and refining my skills so I can provide the safest, most effective, evidence-based care possible.

Running on caffeine, eye patches, and to-do lists.

I have a lot of tabs open in my brain. Up all night running through my pre-travel checklist… meanwhile all I can see is that I need my platysma bands injected.
