A volume fill plus brow lamination, wax & tint—all in an hour and 45 minutes!

I started with her lash fill using a mix of C, CC, and B curls to customize her look:
✨ 8–9 mm C curl
✨ 11 mm CC curl
✨ 13 mm B + CC curls
✨ Back down to 12 mm CC curl
✨ 11, 12 & 14 mm spikes to help extend her eye

For her brows, I used Borboleta’s dark blonde and brown tint. This little micro brush has become my absolute favorite for applying tint! 😍

Mapping: * Bottom: 8, 9, 10, 11 at the arch, then back to 10.
* Middle: Sprinkled in 9, 11, 12, and 13 mm.
* Top: B curl in 11, 12, and 13 mm.

How do I choose the rod for your Korean lash lift? It starts with analyzing YOUR eyes and natural lashes 🤍

Before choosing a rod, I look at your lash length, growth direction, eye shape, and the space between your lashes, eyelid, and brow. I also check from the side to see how much room the lashes have to lift and curl.

For this client, I noticed hooded, deep-set eyes and lashes that already grow upward. Deep-set eyes sit farther back beneath the brow, while hooded eyes have a fold of skin that covers part of the lid. Those details help guide my rod choice and sizing.

Different rods create different finishes:

✨ M curl: A more dramatic, elevated lift with a defined transition near the root. The right fit depends on the specific rod design, lash length, and available lid space.

✨ U curl: A smooth, gradual curve that gives noticeable lift without a harsh angle—think a rounded, mascara-like finish.

✨ Shellie CU: A softer, natural rounded lift. This thicker rod style is especially suited to medium-to-long lashes.

After comparing the fit of different rods, I chose the Shellie CU and sized up for this client. My goal was to preserve her visible lash length while creating a soft curl with enough clearance from her lids.

Choosing a rod involves more than choosing a curl. It’s about finding the shape and size that complement your natural lashes and eyes 🫶🏼
