Monat with Love

Shout out to my amazing husband, Rodney Love, for completing this master’s. I know it wasn’t exactly the route to your doctorate you desired since you already had a masters (non accredited from a college forever ago, so had to bring it up to speed first). But I’m proud of you for knocking it out so that you can embark upon the real goal. This month has been a bit crazy, so I want to highlight you for a minute and express my gratitude for your character and diligence to every task set before you!

Senior night was filled with sweet memories as we celebrated Caleb for who he is, this season drawing to a close and looking forward to all that the next season brings into his life! I Love you, Caleb!

Fabulous new tradition for us!!

Recently I was challenged by a thought concerning Lot’s wife - don’t get stuck when you are supposed to just pass through.
Lot’s wife got calcified to a spot she was only supposed to move through on the way to her future place of freedom. Wow, how often we do this: hold to the security of what experience has shown us even in our past chaos and traumas rather than move forward to the unknown God has chosen to place before us. God’s freedom is always far better than the chains of my past and definitely is not limited to what I know. May I choose better today. Don’t look back.

K5 ↔️ 12 grade - my how quickly Senior Year came. My joy baby has truly brought delight to so many more people than just myself throughout his life. I’m so excited to partner on his life journey with him and to walk this final stretch of high school. Love you, Caleb!

Blessed beyond measure to enjoy the past week with my super dear friend, Debbie Middleton Jacker, her son, James, and even a couple days with Jason Neal and Caleb.
We covered so much of California enjoying God’s creation and such sweet fellowship. Words truly cannot express the fullness of my heart by such a sweet friend. 💕 Grateful to get to visit you by the end of the week 😉

21 - that’s how many years I have been privileged to call this beautiful woman, daughter. I love her for just being who she is: kind, thoughtful, fun, joyful, empathetic, strong, courageous, loving, mischievous, bold and independent. She leads by example and I am honored to call her friend, daughter, my bestie.

“The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want…” today when studying this passage “I shall not want” stood out to me as a “declaration of a decision” (Spurgeon) - a decision to recognize that today I do NOT want for more than my God has supplied. He alone is enough. His provision is enough. Today I choose contentment with what God has given me in this season in every area: friends, feelings, finances …
Today I trust that God’s choice of green pastures for my life is enough.
