People see the mom I am today, but they don’t see what it took to become her.
The tears. The meltdowns. The sleepless nights. The praying. The defeat. The mistakes. The constant questioning of whether I was doing enough.
I didn’t become this mom overnight. It took a lot of struggle, a lot of learning, and a lot of getting back up when I felt defeated.
And the truth is, I’m still becoming her. I still question myself. I still have so much to learn.
So, to the mom who’s still figuring it out, be patient with yourself 🤍

They say this song describes what it feels like to parent a special needs child… and I understand why. 🤍
Not because our children are something to be “saved” from. Not because who they are is something broken.
But because if you’re a parent to a child with extra needs, you know the feeling of wanting to protect them from every hard thing this world can bring.
The appointments.
The uncertainty.
The advocacy.
The misunderstood moments.
The nights you wish you could take their frustration, fear, discomfort, or struggles and carry it yourself instead.
To love your child so deeply that you’d walk into every hard moment with them without hesitation… that’s the part that hits.
To the parents who understand this feeling, I see you. 🤍

We had to do it again 😭🎲🍰Our last Bunco night was so much fun we’re excited to bring it back!!
The laughs, the desserts, the chaos, and moms finally getting a night to just breathe a little… it ended up being one of our favorite nights yet. 🤍
So we’re bringing it back with Dice & Dessert: Bunco Night — a special needs moms night filled with desserts, prizes, coffee, connection, and a little healthy competition 😌
No pressure. No expectations.
Just a room full of moms who get it.
