I'm off to visit Carl and his humans in Coeur d'Alene Idaho for a little Labor Day weekend getaway before the 4th quarter busyness. Testing out this new " empty nest" era. Skipping out of town whenever I want now is still wild to me.

Fall Specials drop tomorrow. You can still message me with your orders and appointments. Sept is full, full with a few random slots left. I highly encourage you to book out for the end of the year. Many of you already have. Those desired times go fast.

This is a perfect example of staying in your lane in the Esthetics world.

As your Esthetician I can certainly recognize skin conditions. I can even recommend products that work for them...but what I am not is a Dermatologist. I can not diagnose you and will always refer you out to get checked. Eczema is pretty easy to see and I've seen it a hundred times, but God forbid it's something more.

Dermatology is one of the most competitive and hardest medical specialties. Work with them, not against them in this industry. Estheticians have a 6 month certificate to work on skin. Yes we work on it daily and help many, many people with it...but know your place and stay in your scope!!

September, the reset for your summer skin...

Yes, I know we have a few more days of August to go, but the "burr" months are almost here.
Heading into Fall/Winter is the perfect time where we focus on skincare regimens, microneedling and chemical peels.

Your skin has spent the last few months getting higher UV exposure, heat, humidity, chlorine, all the spf, late nights, travel and probably a less than consistent skincare routine.

September is the perfect month to set all your goals and treatments up to undo summer.

Specials will launch next Monday and I know you all love and take advantage of them.
Microneedling, Chemical Peels and skincare will all be a part of the special.

I am out of the "office " today through Sunday.
I'll be hanging with this one at MBU for parents weekend before they start classes on Monday. I'm so excited for her to start her college journey. While she is staying local (not so secretly mad abt that) she has a full plate with all the things she is doing with being an athlete, classes and social media manger...I will probably feel like she is gone. So many clients have been going thru the same emotions of sending their kids off to start their journey this summer and its been fun sharing in that experience together. How lucky are we that we get to watch them spread their wings. Cheers to all the kiddos and their parents making this transition and hugs to all the mommas 🤗

A little reset and glow for my Teacher clients as they head back to their classrooms this week. You all are literal saints and take care of our kiddos all school year, don't forget to take time for you too!
