Hi friends!
i am hopping on to share some very important updates taking place in august!
- As most of you may know, I am returning back to college in the fall to major in nursing, rest assured, I will ALWAYS be an esthetician first, continuing my education is just a stepping stone to help me approach my clients in the treatment room with more knowledge, care and treatments that go above and beyond what I have offered so far.
With this being said, here are a few adjustments that we can expect to see:
• Effective August 31st, I will no longer be accepting new clients for Brazilian waxing. This was a hard decision to make as this has been my most sought after service since I started my business, But after really diving into what I see the structure of my business being like, I felt it was best to take this leap as facials and skin have been my true passion.
If you’re a client that has seen me before for any services there will be no interruption to any future appointments, this is more towards clients I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing before. I plan to open my books to new client brazilian waxing every few months to make space for new faces so if you haven’t had a chance to book a service with me, stay tuned!
• From August to December I will have very limited availability as I will only be working 4 days a week, I know I can be a broken record at times but pre-booking at appointments helps disappointment!
• Lastly, If you’re an acne bootcamp client or anyone who has a custom skincare regimen from me, Product pickups will be looking a tad different towards the end of August.
How it will work is you will send me a list of the products you need to restock/want, from there you will recieve a invoice via email, once this is paid you will be sent the products straight to your doorstep. I plan to still have some products on the shelves but cannot promise to always have them stocked for the few months I’m in school.
If anyone has any questions or comments to anything listed here, I am always free to answer any questions that may arise

If there’s anything I’ve learned about treating skin- It’s this..
1️⃣: Skin thrives when it’s treated with consistency, patience and nurturing. I find that although we crave clear results it’s SO important to trust the process, when we rush our skin and add an overwhelming amount of actives it can do more bad than good. The best approach is to start with a foundational routine consisting of a barrier supportive Cleanser, toner, serum and moisturizer ( ofcourse with the help of your friendly neighborhood esthetician 🤭)
2️⃣: Healing isn’t linear, in more ways than one; Sometimes purging periods are going to happen, especially when your skin is introduced to new products containing actives. It’s best to trust the process and listen to what your skin is needing, Feeling Dry? We may need products filled with humectants and ceramides. Feeling Sensitive? Maybe it’s time to cut back on actives and utilize healing ingredients such as beta glucan and centella asiatica. Your skin will show you the information you’re needing.
3️⃣: Everyone’s skin journey is completely unique and different, What your skin barrier can handle can be completely different from what your friend is using. Although we live in the day and age of tik tok skincare hacks and an overflowing media of the latest and greatest beauty tips, it’s sometimes best to bypass the confusion (and possibly the future barrier damage) and speak with an esthetician that aligns with you.

As a waxer of almost 5 years, I’ve seen so many different skin conditions and concerns and the one that always sticks out the most is clients suffering with ingrowns.
Here’s a hot take on ingrowns:
• They are pesky
• They can sometimes be painful
• They are normal!
With waxing, we are removing the hair out of the root causing this hair to get thinner and sparser as you are more consistent with waxing, this sometimes can cause the hair to become trapped if we aren’t doing the proper aftercare as dead skin tends to build on the surface.
The most important question is, how do we fix this? If there’s one product I could recommend to all clients to get the job done, I’d say agent 88 ingrown spray is your girl.
