Whew… 16 years of you! And when I say you have definitely kept your mama on her toes, baby, you have! 😂 You are strong-willed, independent, and determined to do things your own way — and while you may test my gangster from time to time 🤦🏽‍♀️😂, there is never a day that I don’t love you with everything in me.

As you step into another year of your life, my biggest prayer is that God continues to guide you, protect you, cover you, and order your steps. 🙏🏽 I pray that He gives you wisdom to make good decisions, discernment about the people you allow around you, and the strength to become the young man He created you to be.

I pray that one day you fully understand that everything I do and every hard conversation comes from a place of love and wanting the absolute best for you.

You’re growing up on me, and although this journey has had its moments 😩😂, I’m still your mama, I’m still in your corner, and I’ll never stop praying for you.
