This is a personal blog about my journey that includes an ESG procedure in Feb 2020. It's taken a long time to get to this point mentally.
An inner struggle that I've wrestled with for over half a year if not longer.
I've not posted in forever. Just back from vacation that was amazing. But I've not been great about my eating and with some increased heel pain I can't do the treadmill or considering adding more walking to help her back on track. I've picked up 15 lbs over the past year but in still down 27 lbs. I am still very glad I got the procedure but have to do my part too. I've got an appointment Thursday with an orthopedic because the cortisone shots are not holding up more then a couple months on the heel pain. It's so bad I can't walk on it. If I have shoes I can tolerate it. But I'm a barefoot kind of girl at heart. So Thursday starts getting me back on track.

Not journey related but this is the most precious thing and gets you moving..
Hit 6 months this month under my BMI goal of 25. Happy to be healthier. Finally happy in my own skin.
I'm happy to stay...I've stayed under my BMI goal of 25 or less for almost 3 months now.
I'm comfortable in my skin for the first time in many years.
I don't have a perfect body, I never will. That's ok. I just want to be healthy, happy and not restricted by un wanted weight.
I can honestly say that the first time un probably 20 years , I actually feel comfortable in my own skin. I know it sounds silly but Halloween is my favorite time of the year. Just looking for costumes and being able to wear the ones that I really want, and to have them fit right and look right, it's huge.
