It's finally Summer! And what a lovely Summer it's turning out to be! Patriotism is high! We are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America. And July is full of exciting events all over for those celebrations, and others. How are you planning to celebrate?

Celebrate Independence Day with the free Montgomery Village Independence Day Parade & Celebration. Start the morning with the community parade, and watch community groups and performers showcase their creativity along the route. Continue the festivities at Apple Ridge Recreation Area with live music, lawn games, carnival rides, mini‑golf, a petting zoo, food trucks, and more family‑friendly activities. Join us at Westminster City Park for a fun day of dancing, socialization, popcorn, snowballs and much more! Come ready to take the stage and show off your special talent by singing karaoke, dancing to your favorite song, or even telling a joke or two! Talent Show sign up will be available upon arrival. Performances will be limited to 5 minutes each. The Talent Show is a free event, but registration is required. The website says to register when you arrive!

MarlinFest is August 3-8, and Faerie Grandmother Karen will be there Monday through Thursday from 11-9 and on Friday from 11-5:30.
