Now this business has blocked me from my personal and business accounts in an attempt to silence me. I was already called and asked to remove my reviews. I will not, we should think before we respond to people especially potential customers.
Today’s experience at this office was extremely disappointing and honestly disheartening as a mother.
When the appointments were originally scheduled, Shanna was fully aware that I would have multiple children with me. At no point during scheduling was I informed of any “one parent per child” policy. However, upon arrival, I was suddenly told I needed to leave because of this policy.
I calmly explained that this information had never been communicated to me, and instead of being met with professionalism or understanding, I was treated with dismissiveness and unnecessary aggression. My two younger children were sitting quietly reading books and were not causing any disturbance to the office whatsoever.
My older children are 15 and 11 years old and have previously been seen independently while I remained nearby and available if needed. There was absolutely no effort made to work with me or handle the situation compassionately.
What made the experience even worse was when I later called back seeking clarification about the policy. Shanna abruptly placed me on hold by slamming the receiver down mid-conversation instead of communicating professionally. That interaction alone demonstrated a serious lack of customer service and de-escalation skills. Staff members who interact directly with patients and families should be trained to communicate respectfully, especially in already stressful situations.
Policies are one thing, but how families are treated matters too. Many parents, especially single parents, do not always have immediate childcare available for routine appointments. Instead of empathy or problem-solving, I was made to feel unwelcome and inconvenienced for trying to ensure my children received care.
Based on my experience, I am clearly not the only customer who has felt mistreated by this office. After this interaction, I reviewed other Google, Yelp, and BBB reviews and noticed similar concerns regarding staff attitude, professionalism, and customer service. That is extremely concerning for a healthcare practice that serves families and children.
This entire experience left me feeling that certain families are treated differently than others, and I sincerely hope management reevaluates both how policies are communicated and how staff interact with members of the community.

Thank you to all my clients for your continued support. Most of you know I reduced my availability as I took on extra course load to school, on top of working full time, and doing hair part time. Now that this semester is coming to an end I need to take a good break…. Mama is T I R E D 😂. So I’m just taking a breather and I’ll be right back! 🩷
