Funfact: when it comes to trims, unless you specifically state how much you want trimmed off, most stylists will assume to trim whatever is necessary to get you hair to a healthier starting part. Trims are done to remove split ends; trims do not always equate to removing the smalleat bit of your ends. I always discuss what I will cut prior to doing it to ensure I have full consent, and to make sure the client understands why what I cut is necessary.
