Jake and I have been watching a movie every night before bed… which means my “what to watch” list is dwindling.
Can you drop your recommendations in the comments? Def not a scary movie girl, esp before bed 😂

If there’s one thing I can say about Jake’s dad, it’s that he has ALWAYS been the first person to show up when we need someone.
I tripped over a transmission… he was the first one there to pick me up.
I fell backwards into the lake trying to climb the ladder onto the boat… he was the first one reaching down to pull me out.
The week of our wedding, my engine blew up on I65. I called Jake, called my dad, then called Jake’s dad… guess who got there first?? WITH a trailer to get my twin sister and I back home.
On our way to Cleveland, my brakes locked up and started smoking… not only did he show up with a rollback to haul my car home, but he brought his own truck so we could STILL make it to Cleveland.
one of the things I’ll forever be most thankful for is how he showed up for me when my dad passed away.
He couldn't fix the grief and weight of my sadness… no one could. But he knew exactly what I needed without me having to say a word. The biggest hugs, a shoulder to cry on and someone who was always so receptive to my grief.
He's not someone who just says, "Call me if you need anything." He's the person who is already on his way before you've even figured out what you're going to do.
He's been the first to pick me up, the first to pull me out, the first to come rescue us… and when I experienced one of the greatest losses of my life, he was right there to help hold me together.
He has never tried to replace my dad, and I would never expect him to. But I hope he knows just how much it means to have someone who continues to show up for me in all the ways a dad would.
Some people marry into a family and gain in-laws… I married into a family and gained a mom, a dad, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.
P.S. the past month & a half have been extremely hard, stressful, just completely overwhelming. If you could, pray for strength so we can continue just rollin with the punches 🫶

Poor girl isn’t feeling well 😞
Does anyone have recommendations for hairball control or something to help break it down?

There’s just something about the sound of rain hitting the roof on a slow, quiet morning that satisfies every single sensory itch in my brain… 🥹

Happy Sunday, yall 🫶

Ok ok ok YALLLL! Yall absolutely CAME THROUGH! 🤣🫶
Now help me narrow these options down because I am STRUGGLING! 😬
First off… COLOR! There’s just something about a burgundy suede shoe that I absolutely LOVE… but does it match?! I need HONEST opinions only!
I’ve narrowed it down to three colors… caramel suede, burgundy suede & chocolate suede.
Luckily and honestly, surprisingly..I can find all three colors in pretty much every shoe style pictured below… so now I need yall to help me decide!
Comment the COLOR and NUMBER of the shoe you think I should go with. For example, “burgundy 6”!
And yall… I am SO dang excited for this wedding! 🥹 Seeing my sister so genuinely happy and in love absolutely melts my heart. If anyone deserves a love like this and every good thing this world has to offer, it’s her. Knowing how long she has prayed for this kind of love makes it that much sweeter to watch her finally experience it.
All in God's timing… always. 🫶❤️

Yall, I am DESPERATELY needing some help…
I’m trying to find somewhere that does autism testing for adults AND accepts insurance. My psychiatrist referred me to The Brain Docs, but testing would cost $2,400 out of pocket… which is just not doable.
One of my biggest reasons for wanting to be tested is because there’s so much research linking autism and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. (It also will give me so much clarity as to why I am the way I am, why it’s hard to make and keep friends, it’ll help for health care professionals to understand there is a reason for my sensory issues & that I’m not trying to be difficult, it’ll help me understand why regulating my emotions is so damn hard)
But…With my health taking away my ability to work and do so many things I used to, being able to participate in medical studies makes me feel like I’m still contributing to society in some way. It gives me a sense of purpose instead of constantly feeling so worthless because of everything I physically cannot do anymore.
If I am autistic, I’d love to be able to participate in studies that could potentially help others. (There are a lot for diagnosed Eds and diagnosed autism)
So if yall know of ANYWHERE that tests adults for autism and takes insurance, PLEASE let me know!!
All suggestions are welcome! ❤️
