Awesome photo of one of our queens!

Definitely an adventure today! We got into one of our hives and found about 10 swarm cells. For reference, bees swarm when the hive gets too full. We found the old queen and two new queens. So we had to split the old queen into a new hive and kill one of the new queens. That brings us to 6 total hives now!

For the best news, our largest hive is bringing in lots of honey! 🍯

Pictures of our old queen that we marked with a red pen to find her easier!

We still have honey for sale! These are 12oz jars!
1 for $10
2 for $18
3 for $24

We have 19 left! Let me know if you would like some 🐝 🍯

That’s a lot of bees! 🐝

We are working on our labels, opened a business bank account, and are ready to sell honey! We don’t have much left from last years stock, but we should have tons this summer with our bees!!

If you are interested in buying some, send me a message! We have six 1.5 pound jars for $15 each and eight 3 pound jars left for $25 each!

Today’s adventure! Catching our first swarm! Julia Donaldson’s dad called us about a swarm in his neighbor’s tree so we went over and grabbed them!

Our bees are thriving! They loved the 75 degree day on Tuesday! So many bees! We made two splits so we now have 5 hives!

The bees are out and we have a logo! Thank you to Jamie Hall Block!! Almost ready to start selling honey! 🍯
