Natural nail underneath hard gel… why do we remove it? 🤔

Many people don’t realize that the natural nail continues to grow underneath the hard gel.

Removing it helps:
✔️ Reduce bulk and thickness
✔️ Prevent lifting and separation underneath
✔️ Create a cleaner underside

For longer nails, I also seal the underside with top coat for an even cleaner, longer-lasting result ✨

This tip has saved me from buying a new e-file more than once. 👀

When a drill bit starts vibrating, most nail techs immediately think their handpiece is damaged.

But before you spend money on repairs or a new e-file, check these things first:

✓ Bent drill bit (yes, even a brand-new bit can be slightly bent)
✓ Damaged handpiece
✓ Worn bearings from heavy bits
✓ Improper bit insertion

A tiny issue can create a lot of vibration, affect your precision, and make the service uncomfortable for both you and your client.
