bar ucci in volpaia is the italian experience you’re looking for in tuscany. we stopped after our wine tasting, got to meet paola, and had the best panna cotta of my life. if you’re in chianti, this is your stop.

castello di volpaia might be the best winery in tuscany. a world-renowned vineyard tucked inside a medieval village in chianti — make a reservation, do the full tasting, try their olive oil, and stay for the restaurant. i don’t even like red wine and i’d go back.
