✨ A New Chapter Awaits… ✨

After a lot of thought, excitement, and definitely some mixed emotions, I’m officially announcing that I will be moving to Las Vegas, Nevada! 🌵☀️

My last day behind the chair at Hair Masters in Burlington will be Monday, August 24, 2026.

To all of my amazing clients — thank you. ❤️

Over the last five years of calling Washington home, I have been incredibly lucky to meet so many wonderful people and build relationships that have become so much more than just hairstylist and client.

Thank you for trusting me with your hair, supporting my business, recommending me to your friends and family, and continuing to sit in my chair year after year. Your support has meant more to me than I could ever put into words.

One of the things I’m going to miss the most is hearing all of your life updates — the weddings, babies, new jobs, vacations, relationships, breakups, family stories, exciting milestones, and everything in between. 🥹❤️ It has been such a privilege to be a small part of so many chapters of your lives.

If you would like to get in with me one last time before I leave, appointments have been filling up quickly, so please be sure to book yours now before it’s too late. I would truly love to see as many of you as possible before this next chapter begins. ❤️

Leaving Washington is incredibly bittersweet. I’m so excited for this next chapter and everything Las Vegas has in store, but saying goodbye to all of you is definitely the hardest part.

Thank you for five incredible years. Thank you for every appointment, conversation, laugh, referral, review, and kind word. I will forever be grateful for the community that supported me and allowed me to do what I love.

I hope this message finds you well. I want to share some heartfelt news — Kayla Hopson Beauty will be closing, and my last day of business will be Sunday, August 31, 2025.

This decision has not come easily. Doing hair has been more than just a career — it has been a true passion and an incredible journey. However, due to ongoing physical health reasons, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away in order to prioritize my well-being.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for your loyalty, trust, and support throughout the years. Being part of your lives and helping you feel your best has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I will deeply miss this work and, more importantly, the relationships we’ve built.

Better late than never! Throw back to this beauty’s blonding session last year!

**Attention Hairstylists and Beauty Professionals:**

I want to take a moment to share some devastating news and spread awareness. Nicole Winans, the owner of the very first salon I worked at and someone I had the privilege of knowing and learning from, tragically lost her life on Friday, December 6th. Nicole was murdered by her husband in a heartbreaking act of domestic violence.

Nicole was not only a talented stylist and salon owner, but she was also a loving mother to two young children and a stepmother to another. Her children were the center of her world. Now, they are left to cope with the unimaginable loss of both their mother and their father, as their lives have been forever changed.

Nicole’s light touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to call her a friend. As her community comes together to support her family, we ask for your help. If you are able, please consider donating to the fundraiser set up to support her children during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re not in a position to donate, we kindly ask that you share this post to help raise awareness about Nicole’s story and keep her memory alive.

It’s hard to find the right words when your at a complete loss of words. This world lost a beautiful soul, amazing friend, stylist, daughter but most of all mom to her children. This tragedy has left all your loved ones in shock. The world will not be the same without you. I’m grateful for the opportunity you gave me 8 years ago to be apart of the salon envy family. Always allowing me the opportunity to return for a day or two when I would come home to visit. You took a chance on me and I will never forget it. Nicole I hope that heaven treats you wonderful. Your babies will be taken care of and will have the world’s greatest guardian angel watching over them, you their mother! I wish more than anything I could have been there tonight for your candle light vigil. Thank you for the wonderful 8 years of friendship and I will see you again one day my friend. Rest easy!❤️🪽

Subject: Important Update on My Hours and Availability

Dear Clients and Prospective Clients,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to share some important updates regarding my hours of operation starting November 1. I will be transitioning to a new schedule, offering services every Sunday and two Thursdays each month.

The reason for this change is that I have accepted a full-time store manager position at my other job. This decision comes from the need for guaranteed wages to support myself and my family in today’s economy. I want to reassure you that I am not stepping away from the salon or this industry. I truly love what I do, and my passion for styling and serving you will remain unchanged.

At this time, I will no longer be accepting new clients to ensure I can provide the best service to my loyal clientele. I am immensely grateful for your understanding and support. Thank you for your referrals and for being such an important part of my journey.
