POV: If you’re thinking about your makeup on your wedding day… I might have done something wrong.
Hear me out.
I want you to forget about it.
I want you to be thinking about your person standing at the end of the aisle. The happy tears. The champagne toasts. Your grandma’s hug. Your dad trying not to cry. Your friends hyping you up. That first kiss. The dance floor.
Your makeup shouldn’t need your attention, it should simply do its job.
My goal has never been for you to spend your wedding day checking a mirror. It’s to create makeup that feels like you, lasts through every laugh, tear, hug, and kiss, and quietly lets you live every moment without a second thought.
So go be completely wrapped up in your wedding day.
I’ll take care of the makeup.

3% battery:
Cleaning brushes.
Restocking products.
Answering emails.
Packing the kit.
Loading chairs.
Driving to my client.
Setting everything up.
All leading up to
100% battery:
The moment someone sits in my chair.
The behind-the-scenes work is a huge part of what I do, and none of it is glamorous. But every cleaned brush, every packed product, every contract, every mile driven leads to my favorite part, connecting with my clients.
Watching someone smile when they see themselves in the mirror.
Hearing them say, “I actually feel beautiful.”
Being part of one of the biggest days of their lives.
That’s what charges my battery every single time.
This career has never just been about makeup. It’s about people, trust, confidence, and creating a space where someone feels like the very best version of themselves.
That’s my 100%.
People think makeup artists memorize every product we use… truth is, I take notes.
Foundation shades, skincare ingredients, bridal timelines, new techniques, I have systems for all of it.
But play some NOFX, and somehow my brain unlocks lyrics and harmonies I haven’t heard in 20 years.
Apparently my memory has priorities.
Anyone else have a completely random category of information their brain refuses to forget? Tell me yours.
NOFX you will always bring the punk rock girl outta me!!

“Why is professional makeup so expensive?”
I hear this question more than you might think through out social media and conversations.
Here’s the thing…
When you hire a professional makeup artist, you’re not paying for 60 minutes of makeup. You’re investing in years of education, a state license, ongoing training, sanitation, luxury products, insurance, travel, business expenses, personalized timelines, skincare knowledge, and the experience of someone who knows how to make you look incredible in person and in photos.
As a traveling ProMUA and licensed aesthetician, I don’t have a storefront. I come to you. Every timeline is customized. Every face is different. Every skin type deserves its own approach.
My services begin at $190 and can exceed $690 for wedding and special event experiences. Larger weddings and events often invest $3,000+ because they’re not booking “makeup”they’re investing in a luxury experience for one of the biggest days or events of their lives.
The truth?
No one needs makeup.
But confidence is powerful.
I’ve watched clients look in the mirror and finally see themselves with kindness. I’ve seen nervous brides take a deep breath and suddenly feel ready. I’ve watched women stand a little taller, smile a little bigger, and walk into life’s biggest moments feeling like the very best version of themselves.
That’s why I do what I do.
My style will never be about hiding you. It’s about enhancing what already makes you beautiful.
If you’re looking for someone who will simply apply makeup, there are plenty of artists.
If you’re looking for someone who will listen to you, educate you, celebrate you, calm your nerves, hype you up, and create a look that still feels authentically you…
I’d be honored to be your artist.

Wedding mornings move faster than you think. Early alarms, back-to-back makeup, and a timeline that seems to fly by. But it’s all worth it, the giggles over coffee, the laughter after the champagne starts flowing, and the excited “woohoo!” moments when everyone is dressed, glammed, and ready to celebrate. Those are the moments that make it all so special.

A gentle reminder from your makeup artist…
The most important thing you can do on your wedding day is simply be present and soak in every single moment.
Drink plenty of water (and don’t forget those electrolytes). Get a good night’s rest. Turn up the music and have a dance party with your favorite people—this one is absolutely non-negotiable. Sneak away for a quiet moment to whisper sweet nothings to your forever person. Laugh. Breathe. Hug your people a little tighter.
And most importantly… trust the process.
Your artist, photographer, planner, florist, DJ, caterer, and every vendor you’ve carefully chosen all have one goal: to bring your vision to life so you can be fully present for one of the most meaningful days of your life.
Weddings can absolutely feel stressful, but when you’ve hired vendors you trust, let them carry the details. Your only job is to soak up every laugh, every happy tear, every embrace, and every unforgettable moment.
Because at the end of the day, those are the memories you’ll carry with you forever.

A makeup artist’s dream?
Give me the girlies who trust the process, giggle through the appointment, have a fabulous skincare routine, and understand the assignment when it comes to makeup inspiration.
Here’s a little insider secret: if your artist suggests a slight change to the look you showed them, it isn’t because they don’t like your inspiration. It’s because they’re translating that inspiration to your unique features, skin, timeline, and the way makeup actually performs in real life and in photos.
A Pinterest photo is just that, a photo. Your artist is taking your eye shape, skin texture, face shape, coloring, lighting, photography, and hours of wear into account. Sometimes the most beautiful result comes from making a few professional adjustments.
A great example is lashes.
I get asked for individual lashes all the time. While they’re incredibly comfortable and soft, they often photograph much more subtly than people expect, especially in wedding photos. To make them really noticeable, I’d need to apply quite a few, which also takes time away from the timeline during the morning.
That’s why I typically recommend lightweight strip lashes instead. The styles I carry range from barely-there to beautifully elevated, and they create fuller, more defined eyes that photograph exceptionally well without feeling heavy.
That said, my brides always come first. If your comfort is the priority and you’d prefer individual lashes, we’ll absolutely make that happen. My recommendations are never about my preference, they’re about giving you the best possible result for your features, your day, and your vision.
The best makeup appointments happen when there’s trust. You bring the inspiration, and I’ll bring the experience to make it come to life in the most flattering way possible.

What can I say, Winston is a son of a makeup artist so obviously this is what he’s sleep talking and dreaming about haha! He is demure!
First things first… Leslie is an absolute goddess. Effortlessly stunning. Total baddie.
She also graciously gave me permission to share these before-and-after photos, and I don’t take that lightly. Before photos can feel incredibly vulnerable, so I never share them without enthusiastic permission. When my clients trust me enough to let you see the transformation, it’s something I’m genuinely grateful for.
But here’s the thing…
My job has never been about changing someone’s face. It’s about helping them see the version of themselves that’s been there all along.
When you sit in my chair, my mission is simple: you leave feeling confident, radiant, and like the absolute best version of yourself. If you walk away feeling anything less than beautiful, then I’ve missed the mark.
The makeup is just the bonus.
The confidence? That’s the real transformation.
Thank you for trusting in me Leslie Berlin you are such a beautiful lady inside and out!
