And just like that… I’m officially on maternity leave💖

My last few days of work ended a little sooner than originally planned — and now, she’s here!

Our sweet Sophia Jade joined us Saturday, and this first week has been so surreal. Recovering from a cesarean, learning how to be her mom, figuring out breastfeeding, functioning on very little sleep (our bodies are actually amazing), and spending an unreasonable amount of time just staring at her because I still can’t believe she’s here.

Before I fully settle into this little maternity-leave bubble, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of my clients and the ladies I work beside.

So many of you watched this entire chapter of my life unfold right along with me. You listened to the pregnancy updates at every appointment, supported me through my losses, celebrated every milestone, checked in on me, spoiled our baby girl, worked around my very pregnant body and changing schedule toward the end, and showed our family so much love.

I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to step away from work for a few months knowing you’d all be cheering me on from the other side.

For now, my job is to heal, learn this little girl, soak up these newborn days, and give myself permission to be completely present for a season I know is going to pass far too quickly (which many of you have scolded me about ♥️).

I hope you all have the best fall and beginning of the holiday season — you all know it’s my absolute favorite time of year! Take care of yourselves, enjoy all the things we’ll inevitably have to catch up on, and know that I’ll miss seeing your faces and having our regular appointments together (like really, really).

I’ll see you all in December!!

Until then, I’ll be right here soaking up every newborn snuggle I can.
