Meet Erin Cheney, one of our Recode students from Columbus, Kansas!

With 20 years of experience as a hairstylist, Erin is no stranger to the beauty industry. As a mom of two boys and a passionate beauty professional, she’s ready to take the next step in her career by adding permanent makeup to her services.

While her current clients are especially interested in brows, Erin is most excited to learn lip blush!

For Erin, it’s about more than expanding her services. It’s about continuing to help women feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.

Meet Shirleyn Nevarez 🤎

📍 Where are you from?
Born and raised in Anaheim, California. I recently moved back to Missouri from Texas!

🤎 What do you do outside of PMU school?
I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two-year-old son, Louis Misael.

✨ What made you decide to pursue permanent makeup?
I started with lashes and brows, and PMU felt like the next step for me. I love the idea of helping women feel more confident. I’m also excited to continue growing in an industry that I truly love and feel called to.

🖊️ What service are you most excited to learn?
Brows & lips but primarily brows! I’ve always had a love for them.

💭 What are you most excited about for your future career in PMU?
The growth, creativity, and connections that will come with it. I want to build something I’m proud of, make women feel confident, and continue using my God-given gifts and creativity for a greater purpose.
