“This day was super special to me. I got to teach the stylists everything I know about curly hair. Detangling, cleansing, cutting, styling, all of it. The main lesson though, was how to communicate with a client about her hair. We talked terminology and techniques. Figuring out how to do someone’s hair is easy if everyone’s comfortable asking questions.

Here’s a question: It’s 2022. Why isn’t curly hair taught in cosmetology school?”
