Slightly undone, but still glamorous in every way. Soft texture, lots of movement, a few perfectly imperfect pieces…and just enough drama.

But my favorite part? When she looked in the mirror and said “Oh! You made me look RICH!” 😂 Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better review.

This is exactly why I love formal hair—it doesn't always have to be perfectly polished to feel incredibly glamorous. 🤍

Are we calling this 'Old Money Updo' ? Because I think we might have to.

Same wedding morning, five completely different looks. 🤍

This is one of my favorite parts of doing bridal parties. Everyone has their own style, their own hair type, and their own idea of what makes them feel their best.

Braided, sleek, textured, soft and romantic… no two styles have to be the same. I love taking each person’s inspiration and creating something that feels like them while still working beautifully with the rest of the bridal party.

Five ladies. Five looks. One very fun morning behind the chair. 🥰

Half up, but make it yours. ✨

Soft + romantic. Polished + classic. A little more undone + effortless.

One of the things I love most about formal styling is that you can show me the same inspiration photo as someone else, and we can still make it completely you. Your hair, your texture, your vibe. 🤍

And can we just appreciate how pretty all THREE of these turned out?! 😍

Twenty years. Tons of weddings. Sooooo many hairstyles.

And if there's one thing weddings have taught me, it's that the things we spend months worrying about are rarely the things we remember.

No one remembers if a curl fell a little sooner than expected.
No one talks about whether the timeline was perfect.
No one remembers every tiny detail you stressed over.

They remember the laughter while getting ready.
The hug from Mom.
The look on your partner's face.
The happy tears.
The people who showed up to celebrate your love.

After all these years, I've realized that my job isn't just to create beautiful hair. It's to help you feel confident enough to be fully present for those moments.
Because at the end of the day, your wedding isn't about perfection.
It's about the beginning of your marriage—and that's a beautiful thing.
🤍

If you're married, what's one moment from your wedding day you'll never forget? I'd love to hear your story.

One of the biggest sources of stress for brides is worrying that the wedding morning timeline won’t go exactly as planned.

After more than 20 years of wedding mornings, I can confidently tell you: something almost always changes.

And that’s okay.

The secret isn’t creating a perfect timeline. It’s having a team that can adapt when real life happens.

I work closely with makeup artists, photographers, planners, and bridal parties to keep things moving smoothly while still allowing everyone to enjoy the experience.

Because years from now, you won’t remember whether hair started at 8:03 instead of 8:00.

You’ll remember how you felt.

Calm. Excited. Surrounded by your favorite people. 🤍

Brides: What’s your biggest wedding morning worry?

What a beautiful morning spent with this incredible bridal party! 🤍

One of my favorite things about wedding mornings is creating a look that feels authentically you. For this bride, we embraced and enhanced her natural curls, creating a style that celebrated her beautiful texture rather than covering it up.

The bridesmaids each chose something a little different—from soft twists and romantic braids to elegant updos and half-up styles—and together it created such a gorgeous, personalized look for the day.

And can we take a moment for the Mother of the Bride? Her chic pixie haircut got a little extra sparkle, proving that great wedding hair comes in every length. ✨

Thank you for trusting me to be part of such a special day. Congratulations to the happy couple! 💍

Hi! I'm Aubrey. 👋

I've spent more than 20 years helping brides start one of the biggest days of their lives, and I still love every minute of it.

I owned a salon for eight years before selling it, but wedding hair has always been my true passion. Today, I specialize in on-location bridal styling, which allows me to do what I love while maintaining the work-life balance I've worked hard to create.

When I'm not styling weddings, I organize annual education retreats for hairstylists, work part-time as a bartender and server, spend time with my family and dogs, enjoy paddle boarding, get lost in a good book, or tackle my latest house project.

Fun fact: My family and I spent two years living in Germany, and it sparked a lifelong love of travel and adventure.

Whether you're a current bride, a past bride, or just found your way here, I'm so glad you're here. 🤍

One of the most common questions I get from brides is:
"What should I do before my hair trial, and when can I schedule?"

After more than 20 years specializing in wedding hair, I've learned that a little preparation goes a long way toward making your trial productive, stress-free, and successful.

A few of my biggest recommendations:
✨ Bring inspiration photos (and send them ahead of time if possible!)
✨ Schedule your trial as close to the wedding day as you can.
✨ Come with a few styles you're open to discussing.
✨ Bring ALL of your accessories, including your veil.
✨ Let your stylist know in advance if you're planning to wear extensions.

Remember: your trial isn't about perfectly recreating a Pinterest photo. It's about creating a hairstyle that complements your dress, your hair type, your accessories, and most importantly—you.

Brides, tell me below: Are you team "I know exactly what I want" or team "I need help deciding?" 👇

A little peek at this amazing bridal party from this past weekend. 🤍

Eight hairstyles. Lots of long, thick hair. One busy wedding morning.

One of the things I take the most pride in is creating beautiful styles while keeping the morning running smoothly and stress-free. No rushing, no panic, no running behind schedule—just a calm, organized timeline that allows everyone to enjoy the experience.

This crew was so much fun to spend the morning with, and I absolutely loved seeing each style come together. We finished right on schedule and everyone looked incredible.

Thank you for trusting me to be part of such a special day!

One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding hair is that you’re simply hiring someone to style your hair.

In reality, you’re hiring someone to be part of the team responsible for how your wedding morning feels.

After more than 20 years specializing in bridal hair, I’ve learned that the most successful wedding mornings aren’t necessarily the most elaborate, they’re the most organized.
