What is a panniculectomy?
After major weight loss, a panniculectomy can remove the excess lower abdominal skin that hangs over the p***c area. Unlike a tummy tuck, it doesn’t typically address upper abdominal skin or separated abdominal muscles.

Are arm lift scars worth it? 🤨
That depends on one thing: are you comfortable with the tradeoff?
An arm lift can remove significant loose skin and create a much tighter contour, but the scar is part of the deal. With proper scar care and time, scars can continue to mature and fade for up to two years.
If you can accept the scar, the transformation can be worth it.

Imagine getting a tummy tuck… and being left with a scar THIS high.😳
This patient came to me after a previous tummy tuck left her with a highly visible scar sitting far above the underwear line, along with a belly button she wasn’t happy with.
Although I recommended a full revision, she wanted a less invasive approach. We revised and lowered the scar with a mini tummy tuck under local anesthesia, then later refined her belly button in office.
The result? A much lower, more concealable scar, a more natural looking belly button, and most importantly, a patient who was happy with her outcome.
Every revision requires a different strategy and the right plan has to work for the patient, too.
