Another birthday has come and gone, and if there’s one thing that comes with it, it’s a lot of reflecting.

Reflecting on the year behind me, the growth, the challenges, the lessons, and all the people who have been part of the journey.

What started as a dream has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and I never take that for granted.

To our clients, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and choosing us. To Emma and Maria, thank you for bringing your talent, kindness, and heart to J&J every day. And to Amanda, thank you for coming on board and fitting right in. While our clients see your talent behind the chair, I’m lucky enough to know the amazing women behind it. I’m so grateful for all three of you and everything you bring to the salon.

J&J is what it is because of the people in it and around it. The conversations, the friendships, the support, and the community we’ve built together mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

As I head into another year, I’m feeling grateful, motivated, and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I truly couldn’t do it without you.

We’re so excited to officially welcome Amanda English to J&J Beauty Bar 🤍

Amanda joins us fresh off of Newbury Street and we couldn’t be happier to have her here. She’s talented, kind, and brings so much experience behind the chair, specializing in blondes, lived-in color, extensions, scissor men’s cuts, and effortless, dimensional hair.

Amanda is now available for online booking at jjbeautybar.com, which means more opportunities to get behind the chair at J&J!

Her hours are:
Mondays: 10 AM to 8 PM
Tuesdays: 3:30 PM to 8 PM
Fridays: 3:30 PM to 8 PM
Every other Saturday: 9 AM to 4 PM

This could be a great fit for a stylist with a small clientele who is ready for a supportive salon environment, continued education, mentorship, and room to grow.
