The beginning of this week, salon 1201 was able to bless 5 sweet babies with book bags filled with supplies as they head into a new school year. 5 simple book bags may not look like much to some, but to 5 sweet families, it is one less thing they have to worry about.
I could not have done this without my salon girls. They were so quick to volunteer who was going to cover what. And because of their willingness, we have extra supplies left over!
We were able to give away all 5 bags until we needed more to give which we wasn’t prepared for. Until Offerman Baptist donated 3 more bags to us to hand out!!!
My prayer for my salon is to not only be good at doing hair and making people feel beautiful, but to use my business to be the hands and feet of Jesus so we can serve our community in ways that truly matter.
Thank you Jesus for the small opportunities to serve you 🤍

At Salon 1201, we believe God calls us to love our community through action. This year, we are giving away 5 backpacks filled with school supplies, hygiene items, and special goodies to 5 children who truly need them.

If you know a child or family who could use a little extra help this school year, please message us privately! Every nomination will be kept confidential.

Please help us get this blessing out there so it can reach those who are in need. We will do whatever it takes to deliver these back packs before school starts for any surrounding county’s! ❤️
