And this is exactly why understanding YOUR PCOS/PMOS picture matters.
If you're wondering what may be driving your symptoms, I've created a PCOS/PMOS Type Assessment to help you start connecting the dots and better understand the patterns showing up in your body.
💗 Comment TYPE and I'll send you the assessment.
Because managing PCOS/PMOS isn't about doing everything perfectly.
It starts with understanding your body.
🔁 Share this with another woman who's still trying to figure out her PCOS/PMOS.

You may be getting PCOS all wrong. 👀
Let me explain before you ⚔️ me! 😂
When most people hear PCOS, they immediately think:
Irregular periods.
Trouble getting pregnant.
Ovarian cysts.
But PCOS, now PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome), is so much more than your period or fertility.
And if that's all you've ever been taught about it, there's a whole lot more to understand about what's happening in your body.
Here are 5 things people commonly get wrong about PCOS/PMOS:
1️⃣ It's not “just” a reproductive condition.
Your hormones, metabolism, insulin sensitivity, energy, skin, weight, mood and more can all be part of your experience.
2️⃣ You don't have to live in a larger body to have it.
PCOS/PMOS can affect women of all shapes and sizes.
3️⃣ Birth control doesn't cure PCOS/PMOS. 😬 Yep, I said it.
It may be used to help manage certain symptoms, but having symptoms improve while taking it doesn't mean the underlying condition disappeared.
4️⃣ You don't have to have ovarian cysts to have PCOS/PMOS.
That one surprises a LOT of women.
5️⃣ It doesn't only affect you during your period.
The symptoms and challenges can show up throughout your everyday life.
And this is exactly why I'm so passionate about women understanding their hormones instead of spending years feeling confused by their bodies.
The more you understand, the better questions you can ask, the more patterns you can recognize, and the more empowered you can become in your own health journey. 💗
That's also why I created the PCOS/PMOS Circle.
It's a space for women who want to learn more about their bodies through education, nutrition, movement, resources and community, without trying to piece everything together from random posts on the internet.
💗 Comment PCOS and I'll send you the link to join the Circle.
And I'm curious...
What's something you used to believe about PCOS that you later learned wasn't the whole story? 👇

Tomorrow is a pretty big day for me. 🥹💛
I’ll be spending part of my 35th birthday at my home away from home the Bloomington-Normal YMCA, presenting alongside Wellness Director Nicolette Hursey and talking about a topic I’ve become incredibly passionate about: helping people better understand GLP-1 medications and how to support their health while using them.
We’re going beyond “Do GLP-1s help you lose weight?”
We’re talking about metabolic health, insulin resistance, how these medications work, benefits and risks, nutrition, movement, protecting muscle, sourcing, and what it looks like to use these medications as one tool within a much bigger health picture.
I’ve spent a LOT of hours preparing for this. Researching. Writing. Creating resources. Building the presentation. Going back and changing things when I realized I could explain them better. 😂
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realized this is bigger than one presentation.
This is the kind of work I want to keep doing.
Helping women understand their bodies.
Helping them ask better questions.
Helping them feel more informed when making decisions about their health.
And creating resources and support that help them beyond one appointment or one medication.
Am I nervous? Yep. 😂
But I'm also really freaking excited.
35 is starting off with me doing something that scares me a little and feels incredibly aligned at the same time.
Let's do this. 💛

The Metabolic Health Circle is almost here.
For a long time, I’ve wanted to create a space for women who are ready to prioritize their health but are tired of trying to figure everything out alone.
Not another diet.
Not another quick fix.
Not another place telling you that you just need more willpower.
A place to actually learn about your body, build sustainable habits, ask questions, access practical resources, and have support along the way.
That’s why I created the Metabolic Health Circle.
Inside the Circle, we’ll talk about things like:
✨ Metabolic health & blood sugar
✨ Hormones & menstrual cycles
✨ GLP-1 support
✨ Nutrition, protein & meal planning
✨ Movement & strength
✨ Mindset & sustainable habits
✨ Tracking your progress beyond the scale
But this isn't just a resource library.
We’ll also have live Q&As, workshops and trainings, community challenges, guest experts, replays, member resources, and a community of women working on their health right alongside you.
Maybe you're trying to lose weight.
Maybe you're navigating insulin resistance, PCOS, hormonal changes, or blood sugar concerns.
Maybe you're taking or considering a GLP-1.
Or maybe you're simply at the point where you're saying:
“It's time for me to start taking care of me, too.”
You belong here.
The Metabolic Health Circle officially opens October 1st.
Founding Members will be able to join for $49/month before membership moves to the regular $79/month.
This has been on my heart for a while, and seeing all the pieces finally come together feels pretty dang exciting.
Don’t wait until you need another reset. Create a rhythm that helps you stay well.
Comment CIRCLE below or send me a message if you want the details when doors open.

Okayyy… I have to give you a little sneak peek because I’m getting SO excited. 🥹🌿
The Metabolic Health Circle is officially coming to life!!
I’ve been behind the scenes building the app, member spaces, creating resources, and thinking through how I can make this a place that truly helps women feel supported, informed, and less alone in their health journey.
This is going to be so much more than a resource library.
Think:
🌿 Practical metabolic health education
🌿 Live Q&As + workshops
🌿 Challenges + accountability
🌿 Nutrition, movement & hormone support
🌿 GLP support
🌿 Guest experts
🌿 Member perks
🌿 An entire library of guides, tools, recipes & resources
🌿 And a community of women doing this together
Here’s your first little peek inside. 👀
Doors open October 1st, and I seriously cannot wait to welcome the first women into the Circle.
If you want to be one of the first to know when enrollment opens, comment CIRCLE and I’ll send you the waitlist link.
Better health. A brighter you. Together. 🤍

Continuing to learn so I can continue to serve well.
I’m so excited to be spending this week diving into GLP-1 Practitioner Week through Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN)!
As GLP medications and peptides continue to become a bigger part of the metabolic health conversation, it’s incredibly important to me that I continue expanding my education.
I am not a prescriber, and prescribing or managing medications is not within my scope. But I am part of the health and wellness support team for clients who choose to utilize these tools with their medical providers.
My role is to help educate and support the whole person alongside that medical care. Nutrition. Protein. Movement and muscle. Hydration. Digestion. Hormones. Metabolic health. Lifestyle habits. Understanding what’s happening in the body and building sustainable habits that support the journey.
And as someone who has personally using these tools too, this education matters to me on both sides: for the women I support and for myself.
The more I learn, the better equipped I am to educate, ask better questions, collaborate within my scope, and support women as they navigate their own health journeys.
So this week, I’m soaking it ALL in.
Medication can be a tool. But supporting the whole person matters too.

Something new is coming… Rooted & Well.
I've been wanting to create a space where I can share more of what I’m learning, loving, teaching and actually using in my own life when it comes to health and wellness — without trying to squeeze everything into a social media post.
So, I created Rooted & Well, my new monthly newsletter.
Understand your body. Nourish your health. Live rooted & well.
Once a month, I’ll be popping into your inbox with practical education, helpful resources, recipes, simple wellness tips, things I’m personally loving, upcoming events and realistic ways to better understand and support your body.
Because wellness doesn't have to be complicated.
I want Rooted & Well to feel like sitting down with a friend who happens to really love talking about hormones, metabolism, nourishment and whole-body health.
No perfection.
No overwhelming list of things you should be doing.
No emails every other day trying to sell you something.
Just thoughtful, practical wellness for real life.
And the very first Rooted & Well is coming September 1st! 🍂
If you'd like the first issue delivered straight to your inbox, you can join below. 👇

Today's workout marked my second workout of the week, and I am feeling so thankful for what my body is capable of.
Today was a 45-minute Total Body Strength & Core class at the YMCA, and I loved every minute of it.
One thing I've really been paying attention to lately is where I am in my menstrual cycle and how that affects my energy, motivation, and capacity.
Right now, I'm in my follicular phase, and I honestly feel on top of the world. I have more energy, more motivation, and I genuinely want to challenge myself. This phase is often when I feel strongest, so I'm choosing to lean into it and make the most of it.
But here's the thing...
I don't expect myself to feel this way every week of the month.
As women, our hormones naturally fluctuate throughout our cycle, and with those changes, our energy, mood, strength, and capacity can change too.
For years, I thought something was wrong with me because some weeks I felt unstoppable, while other weeks I struggled just to get through the day.
Now I understand...
My body wasn't working against me. It was simply working the way it was beautifully designed to.
Instead of fighting against those changes, I'm learning to work with my body.
To honor it.
To listen to it.
To challenge it when it's ready.
And to give it grace when it needs rest.
Understanding your hormones doesn't just change how you view your cycle—it changes how you show up for yourself.
Ladies, have you ever noticed that some weeks you feel like you can conquer the world, while other weeks your body is asking you to slow down? I'd love to hear if you've experienced this too. 💗
