Some patient stories stay with you forever. Angela’s will be one of ours.

In the final part of Angela’s story, she shared something with us that left our entire team incredibly touched.

Angela is a retired art teacher who, since retiring, has found a new form of self-expression through creating her own artwork. One of her pieces currently displayed in a gallery is called “Rebirth”, and she created it in honor of her journey with Gen 3.

To Angela, Rebirth represents what she describes as a second chance at life.

And if you look closely at the painting, you’ll even find a hidden “G” and “3” woven into the artwork. 🥹

There are truly no words for what it means to know that the care Angela received here became part of something so personal and meaningful to her. We get to see patients every day, but sometimes a story reminds us just how deeply this work can impact someone’s life.
