Dive into a relaxing coastal evening as you create your very own stained‑glass seashell. In this beginner‑friendly workshop, you’ll choose from two beautiful shell designs and learn step‑by‑step from our friend and talented local stained‑glass expert, Rae. All supplies are included — just bring a snack, bring a friend, and enjoy a creative night out.

This workshop is an incredible value:

Every day many of us quietly carry loads that are just a little too heavy for us and we find ourselves in need for a place to unload that weight. The founder of Twisted Moon Studios built the studio on the foundation that art is a natural and beneficial way to process, cope and heal from the challenges life sends our way.

For many, having a safe space to sit with the feelings of grief, loss, pain, trauma or a mixture of feelings can be hard to come by. We believe that art can hold what words can't. It can soften the edges, give shape to what's heavy, and offer a quiet place for the heart to land. Our studio is always a safe space for that --but on this particular morning, we are opening our doors early to create a gentle refuge for those needing to lay down the heavy they carry.

This time is for anyone who has or is facing grief, loss, trauma, or just needs a place to catch their breath.
Your story matters. Your feelings matters. And you deserve a place where they can rest.

Join us for a quiet, before‑hours open studio where you can create at your own pace. Sit in the stillness. Sip some complimentary coffee. Be surrounded by others who understand the kind of quiet you carry. Bring your own project to work on or borrow our supplies to create. We will provide a few suggested prompts if you just aren't sure where to start or you can just let the art speak for itself.

We want everyone to feel welcomed and comfortable coming into this safe space, so we are not charging a fee for this event. However, there will be a QR code available at the register anyone feels inclined to pay what you can.

No judgement, no questions. Just a place to let the soul sit a spell and find its creativity.

Stick & Style: Duct Tape Functional Art

Build bold, functional pieces with serious style. In this hands‑on workshop, an instructor will guide you through the basics of crafting with duct tape, then help you choose a project that fits your vibe — think duct‑tape flowers, a custom wallet, or a small clutch or tote bag.

This 2‑hour session is perfect for tweens, teens, and young adults looking for a creative summer activity that’s fun, low‑pressure, and a great way to elevate their eco‑style. While some students may not finish their full piece during the workshop, they’ll leave with a supply list and the know‑how to keep creating at home.

Resin Coaster Workshop
Saturday, June 20th at 4:00pm

Turn your summer inspiration into functional art in this hands‑on, adult‑only Resin Coaster Workshop. This session is all about bold color, juicy creativity, and that irresistible “I made this!” satisfaction.

You’ll start by designing a set of custom coasters using simple, approachable painting techniques—think bright citrus slices, watermelon vibes, berry bursts, or any design your imagination is craving right now. Summer fruit is our muse, but your personal style is always welcome.

Then comes the magic moment: you’ll learn how to mix and pour resin to seal your artwork into a glossy, durable finish that’s as beautiful as it is practical. It’s the perfect blend of art and design—playful, modern, and totally gift‑worthy.

Whooo's ready to join us for an afternoon of painting together while learning fun facts about owls? Join us on Wednesday 6/17 at 4pm while we learn to paint an adorable nocturnal owl. Step by step instruction will be provided and all supplies are included. A perfect activity to beat the summer heat, this paint workshop is designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere filled with moments of laughter, fun and creativity!

Today is the last day to glaze pottery and have it ready before Father's Day. Any pieces glazed after today might be ready, but we cannot guarantee it.

No worries though, we also have canvas painting and lots of great gift options in our retail marker area.

Lighthouse Clay Lantern Workshop
Thursday, June 25th • 4:00 PM • $25 per child
Ages 7–12 • Advanced registration required

Set sail on a creative coastal adventure! In this hands‑on clay workshop, young artists will build and decorate their very own lighthouse lantern. Kids will learn simple hand‑building techniques as they shape, carve, and design a lighthouse that will glow beautifully with a tea light inside.

After creating their lighthouse, pieces will stay at the studio to dry fully and be kiln‑fired by our team. Once fired, artists return for a second creative experience at your convenience — glazing their lighthouse with bright coastal colors and adding all the finishing details that make it shine.

This project is perfect for imaginative makers who love the beach, storytelling, and working with their hands. Each lantern becomes a one‑of‑a‑kind keepsake — charming on a nightstand or magical on a summer porch.

Space is limited to keep the experience relaxed and supportive. So reserve your child's seat early.
