🚨 Turning Point for Peptide Therapy 🚨
This week, the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted to recommend broader compounding access for several peptides, including BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and MOTS-c (just a few of my favorite peptides 😍).
⭐️ What does this mean? ⭐️
This is not FDA approval (okay 🙄) The committee’s recommendation is non-binding, and the FDA will make the final decision.
However, I believe this is a step in the right direction. If adopted, it could expand access through licensed compounding pharmacies and help move patients away from the unregulated “grey market” and into the care of qualified healthcare providers who can ensure appropriate prescribing, quality sourcing, and ongoing monitoring.
I’ll be following this closely and will keep you updated as the FDA makes its final decision. This is definitely one to watch. 👏🧬
