As a medical professional, I hear a lot of talk about burnout. One of the suggested cures is to always remember to take care of yourself too. That same advice applies to everyone taking care of spouses, kids, demanding jobs, etc.
I've started a new Christmas tradition for myself where every gift is "buy one, get one" -- I buy a gift for someone else, I get one for myself! It's fantastic! 🤣
