How Slick Rock will be giving back this month! 🧼

Join us in giving back by bringing donations to any Slick Rock location. We'll have boxes at each spa for receiving items and will take those filled boxes to the Salvation Army after the month wraps up.

Every September, we set aside a whole month to do something bigger than a great tan. This year, our hygiene drive is back, and we are partnering with The Salvation Army in Boise and Spokane to get essential hygiene products into the hands of neighbors who need them most.

Here is the thing about hygiene donations: food drives fill pantries. Clothing drives fill closets. But soap, shampoo, and deodorant? Those shelves run dry the fastest—and they are the items that help people feel human again when life gets hard.

Many body oils and lotions contain silicones and fragrance oils.

When these mix with spray tan solution, your color can develop patchy or uneven.

At Slick Rock, we provide a pH-balancing primer and blending lotion before your session to remove barriers, residue, and dry patch buildup.

Dry skin can also affect your results. Those areas absorb more solution and tend to develop darker or overdeveloped patches.

Leftover deodorant or perfume can cause streaky bronzing too, so make sure to remove those before your session.

When to schedule your pre-wedding beauty appointments 🗓️
