Shoulder arthritis can be debilitating. Shoulder replacment has excellent results to relieve pain. Different types of shoulder replacements are available to address many of the sources of shoulder arthritis. If you have an intact rotator cuff, best option is an anatomic replacment to regain near normal pre-arthritic motion and function.
Not every shoulder replacement should be a reverse. The reverse replacement is the workhorse in the shoulder but is not always the best option.

Quick trip but always great to be asked to present at the orthopedic national conference in the shoulder elbow session. Presented on patient optimization for shoulder replacement. Prompted some great discussion and able to reconnect with other orthopedic surgeons. Hoping to do it again. Orthopedic surgeons leading the way.
