So Jamie is still doing so good and it appears that all the surgeries were successful and now it is just time to rest and heal. With that being said, she will be released from the hospital in the next day or two.

We all want to celebrate this with Jamie! We have to remember, she is still very sick and recovery is a
long slow road. She needs lots
of rest!

When she is released, please keep that in mind and give her and her family some time to spend with her and adjust to taking care of her.

When they start allowing visitors, please keep your visits short, with one being sick. She is still very susceptible to infections.

We will update when she is actually released. Thank you all so much for your prayers and keep them coming!

We know so many people have been worried about Jamie Goodman, praying for her, and reaching out to check in. We are so thankful for every prayer, message, and bit of support.

Physically, Jamie is improving and moving in the right direction. I don’t know every detail of the accident, but I do know she suffered broken ribs and internal bleeding and was rushed to Macon, where she underwent multiple surgeries. As of today, she is doing much better, and we are incredibly grateful for the progress she has made already.

Mentally and emotionally, this has all been very hard, and there is still a long road to recovery ahead. Jamie is strong, stubborn, determined, and focused, and we know God has already shown up in a huge way through all of this. We truly believe she will continue to fight her way through recovery.

Please know I’m not trying to ignore anyone. Right now my main focus is helping care for Jamie, helping with the salon, and taking care of our clients and family responsibilities. We are asking for continued prayers not only for Jamie, but for the entire family as well.

Leaving the hospital will only be the beginning of recovery, so we ask for patience, love, support, and understanding during this time. We will try to answer messages and keep everyone updated whenever we can. Please watch for updates on Facebook — I’ll try to share them through the salon page, but for now most updates are being posted on the family page.
