This whole $1,000 sew-in conversation has really got me thinking.

As a licensed professional with nearly 30 years in this industry, I understand that pricing involves more than just doing somebody’s hair. You’re paying for skill, knowledge, experience, time, and sometimes an entire luxury experience!

But here’s where I stand…

Just because something is outside YOUR budget doesn’t mean it’s overpriced. And just because YOU don’t see the value doesn’t mean the value isn’t there!

But baby, everything ain’t for everybody, and that’s perfectly okay!

So before we criticize somebody else’s price tag, maybe we should ask ourselves: Is it really overpriced, or is it simply something I don’t personally value?
