We care deeply about the health and safety of our customers, employees, and stylists. That is why we want to share the steps we are taking at our Blackstone Street salon in Boston.

We are closely monitoring the current situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and are committed to taking appropriate steps to navigate this challenging time.

When you visit our salon, we strive to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Getting your hair cut, colored, or styled should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience for you and your stylist.

Please know that cleanliness and sanitization have always been a big part of running a great hair salon, and we already follow strict guidelines from local health departments. However, due to the current situation, we are increasing and adding to our current supply of cleaning and sanitizing materials to ensure our stylists can clean and disinfect the salon even more thoroughly throughout the course of the day.

As with much of the advice you have seen from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), we recommend everyone be conscious of this potential health risk and follow official preventative recommendations. We believe the CDC’s website is the best destination for that advice.

In accordance with the CDC’s protocol, we have asked all employees displaying symptoms to avoid coming to work for a period of 14 days.

We kindly request that if you are not feeling well, please reschedule your visit for when you are feeling better for the safety of our team and other customers.

As we work through this together, we are committed to providing customers with the information they need to make informed decisions around their salon services. For our Boston customers, our salon is open and our stylists are available.

Today’s is completely Bananas! 💁🏼‍♀️📝

The winter brings harsh precipitation and relentless dry winds. This simple hair mask will moisturize your hair, improve elasticity & will leave your hair softer than a baby’s bottom!

• 1-2 bananas depending on the size 🍌
• 1-2 tablespoon(s) of honey 🍯

Mash the banana(s) in a bowl until smooth, and then add the honey to your mashed bananas.
Apply the mixture to clean dry or slightly damp hair. Cover with a shower cap, towel or saran wrap and wait 20-30 minutes.
Rinse out hair mask. Shampoo and condition as normal & voilà ✨

Almonds are rich in magnesium and various other nutrients that promote hair growth and keep hair looking healthy & beautiful. This hair mask is the perfect addition to a home mini-spa! 🧖🏻‍♀️🥂

• 3-4 Tbsp of Egg Whites 🥚
• 4-5 Tbsp of Almond Milk 🥛
• 2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil 🥥

Mix the ingredients well and apply it to your hair. Leave it on for at least an hour to allow your hair to absorb all of the nutrients and vitamins. Lastly, rinse out the product with cold water.

Stop rinsing conditioned hair with hot water! During the winter, it's tempting to take showers with soothing hot water to get rid of the winter chills. Make sure to use cold water when rinsing conditioned hair. This will close down the cuticle cells and lock down the moisture in your hair. The end result? Softer hair with the shine of a 💎!

When it comes to blow drying, patience is 🗝. Using high temp. settings can make your hair prone to breakage and split ends. A good rule of thumb is to never use your hairdryer at a temperature too hot 🔥 for the palm of your hand. For faster drying, use a high-wattage dryer and increase the airstream instead of the temperature 👩🏻‍🦰💨
