Here’s some hard truths:
Need to be ready by 1pm? Great I’ll see you at 8am.
Don’t question it, just show up.
Complaining to the bride about how early your hair and makeup appointment is won’t change it, it’ll just stress the bride out.

And if her vendors are saying “we need to be done by X” then that’s the time you need to be ready.
- this is not our first rodeo
- our timelines are based off of everything else that happening in the day and how much time we need to work.
- Respectfully this is our job and the reason you hire pros. The way we do your makeup is built to last, it’s not the same as makeup you do in 10 min every morning.
100% of the time we’re getting up way earlier than you to pack our cars and commute to the venue….WE DONT WANT TO START EARLY EITHER.
So if you’re in a bridal party and you get the timeline and you’re going at 7:30 Am for makeup- you say “you got it I’ll be there” and you keep your opinions to yourself :) you’re there to support your friend/family NOT be added stress.

As a hooded girly myself I know how hard doing your makekup is when nothing seems to work the way it did in that tutorial you watched. I’ve struggled my whole life with creasing, eyeliner transferring, lashes not fitting me right- the list goes on.
