Taking your sew-in down the right way is just as important as the install itself. ✨

One of the biggest mistakes I see is leaving an install in too long, shampooing before detangling, or panicking over normal shedding.

Remember:
✔️ Remove your sew-in around 6–8 weeks.
✔️ Thoroughly detangle before shampooing.
✔️ Don’t panic when you see shedding—it has been collecting for weeks.
✔️ Give your leave-out a break by switching your part every now and then to help prevent leave-out burnout.

Healthy extensions start with healthy natural hair, and protecting your hair between installs is just as important as protecting it during the install.
