This weekend, as we tend to ourselves, can we do it for a moment without the goal of self-improvement?
Yes, these products can correct this and that. Yes, it is entirely fair to want to look rested, healthy and even sexy.
But can we also slow down long enough to enjoy the care for the sake of care?
To nourish the skin because it is alive. To massage the face because it feels good. To make the ritual less about fixing and more about tending.
The results still matter. But maybe they do not have to be the only reason we care for ourselves.
