❤️MOM HERE…HONESTY WARNING:

Racing season is starting… which means I won’t be with my Luke for weeks at a time. My almost 10 year old son was born to race. It’s taken me a long time to accept it…and the lifestyle that comes with it. It’s scary, it’s divide and conquer, it’s intense, it’s often misunderstood, it’s hard to explain, it’s sacrifice, it’s SO MUCH WORK, it’s also absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I could go on and on about it all!

But that’s not the point. I just want to share just some of our reality as the season begins… Luke got home just last night from a weekend race and couple day training- just to turn around and leave tonight.

Last night was extra long bedtime chats, prayer, and TWO songs instead of one.

This morning it was our breakfast all together at our favorite spot, because we know what’s coming

It was “pick ONE subject” homeschool day instead of all of them so we can get ready and be together as much as possible.

It has been constant cleaning, gathering and laundry…. Then packing and more organizing and food prepping and ALL THE THINGS.

It was last minute canceling my Wednesday night voice students so I can be home to cook my boys favorites and have comfort cookies to send off too…

I will spend days at home with my other boys… walking by his empty room, hoping he’s safe and happy.
The boys will ask how many more days until everyone’s back together… I will be following live timing and trying not to miss any laps. I’ll be hoping and praying to see his name only move up, which means things are good. The emotional rollercoaster is so real. How is this our life. HE IS NOT EVEN 10 yet!

ALL OF THIS SAID- the Lord is right by our side in this journey. As I am willing, the Lord is showing me that he is. When we all reunite, there will be stories and moments to testify of Gods hand that has been seen as we’ve have been apart- and we will talk about what we have learned. My faith is being strengthened. My trust in His plan is being tested- and this life is a WILD RIDE!!

Is there a point here? Hm… just that, it’s here, ready or not…
I pray God will continue to be with my beautiful son…because I know he was YOURS before he was ever mine❤️

Merry Christmas to our amazing family and friends! Cards are in the mail, probably get to you tomorrow!

So proud of my Luke for working so hard to podium at the Ponca City MX National 2025!

On his 50 for a couple more months, racing these fast guys is just what he needs! Along with training from as his mechanic for being our guys for her help always and the Lord who really comes first making everything work together for our good….EVERYONE THANKS for being with us on this crazy ride of a motocross life! Gosh, so proud… and humbled to be around these dedicated athletes! AMAZING! Gooooo #74 LUKE WITT BABY! 🙌🏼

Another amazing experience with The Halos and friends! A beautiful opportunity to join with all Christians and worship. I loved being able to belt it out more than I have been able to behind the pulpit…. Listening to all of the music and words to everyone’s song was the best- again my heart bursts with gratitude for a loving Savior and a Heavenly Father with a plan for each of us. Every song blew me away! Thank you .praise for having me.
