The beauty of a city like Los Angeles is there are stylists for every price point, and those price points typically reflect the artists skill set, continued education on new trends, products used and over arching client experience.

In an industry where pricing and quality are hard to regulate we know finding an artist can feel like a big task.

At Kismet our artists each have specialties, varieties of techniques and esthetics. We encourage our clients to browse our team and find the right fit for their desired end result and price points.

Kismet appointments are a curated experience, because most of the time a trim isn’t just a trim.

During the peak of hair salon culture - the front desk, the boutique, the beverages, the community building, the relationships formed within the walls of a beauty shop were part of our ‘why’. Then the industry started separating into private studios, eliminating front desks, cutting back on client amenities and creating a more ‘express’ ‘all business’ vibe. Once covid hit and beverage options and even scheduling styles changed…the salons no longer felt like Steel Magnolias and those of us who have been in the industry a while felt that shift. We missed community.

By offering beverages we are able to take care of our clients in one extra little way. We share conversations on the couch over lavender honey lattes. We pour a Prosecco when that after work appointment walks in (21+ only 😇). Over time we remember your milk choice, sweetener preference, or canned cocktail vibe.

We know that our industry is about science & art & beauty…but it’s also always been about service & community.
