This is session #3, and while we’ve made major progress, that stubborn green is still hanging on. It’s definitely lighter than where we started, but we’re not quite blonde yet.

After weighing our options, he made the executive decision that pink was going to be our best friend for the next 6 weeks while we continue the process. 💗

Our end goal is still a beautiful, clean blonde—and sometimes getting there takes patience, trust, and multiple sessions.

This gorgeous golden blonde was achieved WITHOUT bleach because her hair had never been previously colored. Virgin hair gives us the ability to lift and create beautiful, dimensional blondes while maintaining softness and shine.

⚠️ Keep in mind: this result is not possible on every client. Previously colored hair often requires a different approach to achieve the same level of lift and brightness.

Color corrections are a process ✨

They can be tedious, time-consuming, and sometimes take multiple sessions to reach the final goal — especially when we’re correcting previous color, removing stubborn pigment, and trying to maintain the health of the hair along the way.

Every session is progress. 🤍 Sometimes the best color correction isn’t the fastest one — it’s the one that gets you there while keeping your hair strong, healthy, and beautiful.

Trust the process. The goal is worth it. ✨

SESSION TWO ✨ The blonde journey continues…

Coming from aqua hair, we already knew this transformation wasn’t going to happen overnight. This session was all about continuing to break through that stubborn pigment while keeping her hair healthy.

We were able to neutralize a lot of the green through the mids, but those ends had other plans. 😅 The remaining pigment simply would NOT budge, and sometimes with color corrections, you have to know when to stop pushing the hair and start improvising.

So instead of fighting it, we worked with it. 💜 We added purple to the ends to make everything look intentional, blended, and wearable while we continue our journey.

Color correction is never a straight line. Sometimes the plan changes halfway through—and that’s where understanding color theory really comes into play.

The goal is still BLONDE. 🤍 We’re just getting there one healthy session at a time.

• Color remover #1 to start breaking up years of pigment

• Color remover #2 to lift even more of the direct dye

• Quick bleach wash to brighten what was left
• Washed
• Neutralized those stubborn blue-green tones to soften and mute them
• Washed
• Melted her roots into the remaining color and finished with black dip-dyed ends for a fun, intentional look while we transition.

Color corrections like this take patience, strategy, and multiple sessions to protect the integrity of the hair. We’re choosing healthy hair over rushing the process.
