✨ Signature Facial💆🏼♀️
The Signature Facial is a client favorite it combines customized skincare with intentional relaxation. It delivers visible results while giving you the opportunity to slow down, unwind, and let someone take care of you for a change.
Like every facial I perform, your appointment begins with a professional skin analysis. I assess your skin’s current condition, discuss your concerns, review your goals, and build your treatment around what your skin needs that day not what it needed a month ago.
Every Signature Facial includes the same customized foundation:
🧼 Cleanse
Professional cleansing removes makeup, oil, sunscreen, and impurities while preparing your skin for treatment.
✨ Exfoliate
Your exfoliation is selected based on your skin type, sensitivity, and concerns to encourage healthy cell turnover and reveal smoother, brighter skin.
💧 Nourish
Professional serums, masks, and treatment products are chosen specifically for your skin to restore hydration, calm inflammation, improve balance, and support your overall skin health.
🛡️ Protect
Every treatment concludes by strengthening your skin barrier with moisturizer and SPF, helping protect your results long after you leave.
So what makes the Signature Facial different?
This is where your treatment becomes elevated.
Depending on your skin goals, I may incorporate enhancements such as:
• Dermaplaning
• LED Light Therapy
• High Frequency
• Microdermabrasion
• Jelly Mask
These enhancements are not automatically included all at once. Every modality is selected intentionally based on your skin analysis. Some treatments complement each other beautifully, while others are better saved for another visit. My goal is never to do the most it’s to do what’s best for your skin.
The Signature Facial is perfect for clients who want more than just a basic facial. Whether you’re looking to improve acne, brighten dull skin, smooth texture, boost hydration, reduce congestion, or simply enjoy an hour of relaxation, this facial is designed to deliver both results and an experience you’ll look forward to.
This is targeted skincare without sacrificing self care. 💕

🔍 Skin Check Wednesday | Is Your Skin Barrier Crying for Help?
Your skin barrier is your body’s first line of defense. Think of it as a brick wall the skin cells are the bricks, and healthy lipids (fats) act as the mortar holding everything together. When that barrier is healthy, it helps keep moisture in while protecting your skin from bacteria, irritants, allergens, and environmental stressors.
When your skin barrier becomes compromised, your skin can’t function the way it’s designed to. Instead of looking healthy and resilient, it may become irritated, dehydrated, inflamed, or unusually sensitive.
Here are 5 common signs your skin barrier may need some extra love:
✨ 1. Products Suddenly Sting
If products you’ve always used without a problem suddenly burn or tingle, your barrier may be weakened, allowing ingredients to pe*****te more deeply than they should.
✨ 2. Constant Redness
Persistent redness can be a sign that your skin is struggling to protect itself from everyday irritants.
✨ 3. Tightness After Cleansing
Your face shouldn’t feel “squeaky clean.” If it feels tight or uncomfortable after washing, your cleanser may be too harsh, or your barrier may already be compromised.
✨ 4. Dry, Flaky Patches
When the barrier can’t hold onto moisture, water escapes through the skin more easily, often leading to rough texture, peeling, and flakiness.
✨ 5. Increased Sensitivity
Does your skin suddenly react to products, weather changes, heat, wind, or even water? A weakened skin barrier often becomes much more reactive than normal.
💡 Skin Check Tip: Sometimes the best thing you can do for your skin isn’t adding another active ingredient it’s simplifying your routine. Focus on gentle cleansing, hydration, barrier supporting ingredients like ceramides, and daily SPF while your skin recovers.
Healthy skin isn’t about using the strongest products. It’s about giving your skin what it needs to function properly.

🔍 Skin Check Wednesday Disclaimer
This series is provided for educational purposes only and is designed to help you better understand common skin concerns.
I cannot diagnose medical skin conditions, provide medical advice, or determine exactly what’s happening with your skin through social media, comments, messages, or photos. Every person’s skin is unique, and an accurate assessment requires an in-person skin analysis.
While these signs are commonly seen with a compromised skin barrier, they can also be associated with other skin conditions. I cannot confirm or deny a diagnosis without evaluating your skin in person.
If your concerns appear to be outside the scope of esthetics or require medical evaluation, I will always recommend that you seek care from a board-certified dermatologist before beginning treatment.
My goal is to educate, support healthy skin, and help guide you toward the most appropriate care for your individual skin needs. 🩷
✨ Have you ever damaged your skin barrier from over exfoliating or using too many active ingredients? Tell me about your experience below!

✨ Tuesday Ingredient Spotlight: Mandelic Acid ✨
Want the benefits of exfoliation without the harshness?
Mandelic acid is one of my favorite acids because it’s incredibly gentle while still helping improve tone, texture, and congestion. It’s often a great choice for sensitive skin and many clients who are new to chemical exfoliation.
✔️ Gently exfoliates
✔️ Brightens dull skin
✔️ Helps fade post-acne marks
✔️ Supports smoother texture
✔️ Great for sensitive or acne-prone skin
Sometimes gentle really is the way to go. 💗

How does your skin heal after a facial?
Ever wonder why your skin looks brighter, smoother, or more refreshed after a facial? It’s not just the products it’s your skin responding exactly the way it was designed to.
Many professional treatments create a controlled response within the skin. Whether it’s exfoliation, enzymes, dermaplaning, or other professional services, your skin immediately begins its natural repair process.
Here’s what happens behind the scenes:
✨ Step 1: Clean-up
Dead skin cells, excess oil, and surface debris are removed, giving fresh, healthy skin the opportunity to come forward.
✨ Step 2: Repair Mode
Your skin increases blood flow and begins delivering oxygen and nutrients to support recovery. This is one reason your complexion often has that healthy post-facial glow.
✨ Step 3: Renewal
Over the following days, your skin continues replacing older cells with newer ones. As this process continues, your skin can appear smoother, softer, and more radiant.
This healing process is also why your aftercare matters. Picking at your skin, over-exfoliating, using harsh active ingredients too soon, or skipping sunscreen can interrupt the work your skin is trying to do.
A facial doesn’t permanently change your skin overnight. It supports your skin’s natural functions, which is why consistency often produces the best long term results.
Healthy skin isn’t created in a single appointment it’s built through professional treatments, good home care, and giving your skin time to do what it does best.
💗 Your skin is always working for you. Sometimes the best thing we can do is support the healing process instead of rushing it.

🩷 Sunday Reset
This week’s reminder: Wash your makeup brushes.
When was the last time you gave them a good cleaning?
Your brushes collect makeup, oil, dead skin cells, and everyday buildup with every use. Each time you use a dirty brush, you’re putting all of that right back onto your skin.
A quick wash once a week can help keep your brushes performing better, your makeup applying smoother, and your skin a little happier.
✨ Small habit. Big difference.
Save this as your reminder, and I’ll see you next Sunday for another Sunday Reset. 💕

✨ Self-Care Saturday ✨
Let’s talk exfoliation.
Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells that naturally build up on the surface of your skin. When done correctly, it can leave your skin looking brighter, feel smoother, and allow your skincare products to absorb more effectively.
Benefits of regular exfoliation:
🩷 Smoother texture
🩷 Brighter complexion
🩷 Helps reduce clogged pores
🩷 Encourages healthy skin cell turnover
The key? Don’t overdo it.
Most skin types only need to exfoliate 1–2 times per week. Too much exfoliation can weaken your skin barrier and lead to irritation, redness, and sensitivity.
Healthy skin isn’t about doing more it’s about doing what’s right for your skin. Listen to it, be gentle with it, and stay consistent. Your skin will thank you. 💕
👇🏽Now I’m curious…
What kind of exfoliant are you using?
• Physical scrub?
• Chemical exfoliant (AHA/BHA)?
• Enzymes?
• Or are you skipping exfoliation altogether?

✨ FAQ Friday
Should I wash my face in the morning?
For most people, yes but it depends on your skin.
While you’re sleeping, your skin is still working. Overnight it produces oil, sweat, sheds skin cells, and collects bacteria from your pillowcase and hair. Starting your morning with a clean face gives your skincare products a fresh canvas and helps sunscreen apply more evenly.
That being said, not everyone needs the same morning routine.
💗 If you have oily or acne prone skin: A gentle cleanser in the morning can help remove excess oil and reduce congestion throughout the day.
💗 If you have dry or sensitive skin: Sometimes a rinse with lukewarm water or a very gentle cleanser is enough. Over cleansing can strip your skin barrier and leave your skin feeling tight or irritated.
The goal isn’t to make your skin feel “squeaky clean.” Healthy skin should feel comfortable, balanced, and hydrated not stripped.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is using harsh cleansers twice a day because your skin feels oily. In many cases, over cleansing can actually lead to increased oil production as your skin tries to compensate.
The best routine is the one that’s customized to your skin type, concerns, and goals not someone else’s viral skincare routine.
What’s your morning routine? Do you cleanse, rinse with water, or skip it altogether? Let me know below! 💕

✨ Glow Facial 🧖🏼♀️
Not every facial needs to be packed with upgrades to deliver beautiful results.
The Glow Facial is the foundation of my facial menu and is perfect for anyone wanting healthy, balanced skin through a completely customized treatment.
Every appointment begins with a thorough skin analysis. I’ll evaluate what your skin is telling me that day because your skin’s needs can change with the seasons, hormones, stress, medications, lifestyle, and even the products you’re using at home. (Your forms when booking help here! Very important!!)
From there, I’ll build your treatment around four essential steps:
🧼 Cleanse
We start by removing makeup, sunscreen, oil, and daily buildup while preparing your skin for treatment.
✨ Exfoliate
The type of exfoliation is chosen specifically for your skin. Whether your goal is brighter skin, smoother texture, hydration, acne management, or calming sensitivity, I’ll select the appropriate exfoliation for you.
💧 Nourish
This is where your treatment becomes truly customized. Serums, masks, and professional products are selected based on your skin concerns to help restore balance and support healthy skin.
🛡️ Protect
Every facial finishes by protecting the skin barrier with moisturizer and SPF, because maintaining your results is just as important as achieving them.
No two Glow Facials are exactly alike. While the experience follows the same professional process, the products and treatment are tailored specifically to your skin’s needs not a one size fits all routine.
This facial is ideal if you’re looking for professional skincare without advanced modalities or relaxation enhancements. It’s all about giving your skin exactly what it needs to look and feel its best.
✨ Customized to your skin. Every single visit. ✨

🔍 Skin Check Wednesday | What Your Breakouts May Be Telling You
Have you ever noticed that you seem to break out in the same area over and over again? While the location of a breakout can sometimes provide helpful clues, it’s important to remember that there isn’t a scientific “face map” that can accurately diagnose the cause of acne based solely on where it appears.
However, as an esthetician, I do notice patterns that can help us start asking the right questions.
✨ Forehead
Frequent breakouts here may be associated with sweat, excess oil, hair products, hats, or congestion from dead skin buildup.
✨ Cheeks
This area often comes into contact with things like your phone, pillowcases, makeup brushes, hands, or masks. These aren’t guaranteed causes, but they can contribute to irritation and clogged pores.
✨ Nose
The nose naturally has a higher concentration of oil glands, making blackheads, enlarged pores, and congestion very common in this area.
✨ Chin & Jawline
Breakouts around the chin and jawline are commonly associated with hormonal fluctuations, but stress, skincare products, and lifestyle factors can also play a role.
✨ Hairline
If you’re noticing bumps around your forehead or hairline, hair products, dry shampoo, oils, and styling products could be contributing to clogged follicles.
💡 Skin Check Tip: Instead of only treating the breakout, look for patterns. Are they appearing after workouts? Around your menstrual cycle? After trying a new product? Those details often tell us much more than the location alone.
