What is “V-Light” hair extensions method, you ask?
This is one of the most invisible hair extension application methods,
and the wood is not meant for a full head application these tiny, flat, and transparent bonds are virtually undetectable, even in delicate areas like the hairline, fringe, or part.
V-Light is a strand-by-strand hair extension application that uses a special, light-activated adhesive and a UV or LED lamp to attach hair.
The “cold” UV light cures the adhesive instantly, which means there is no heat applied to your hair or scalp during the bonding process.
This method is also a fantastic way to add chemical free highlights!

If you have very fine or thin hair and you’re considering getting extensions, one of the most common questions I get asked is, “Is this going to feel heavy?”
This is where a truly customized installation comes in…
Sometimes the best fit for your hair is what is often called a “ factory bond”. This means the individual hair is made in a factory and purchased for use in the salon.
Depending on the manufacturer, those could be easily cut smaller. Sometimes in 1/2 or even smaller in 1/3, and this is done to specifically accommodate a thinner, lighter density area in the hair.
Often making my own custom blended smaller bonds is a great fit for my clients. This allows me to not only customize the density, (or weight )of each strand,
but to also blend colors for a very natural looking highlighted effect.
Lastly, sometimes (but not always*), it is possible to reuse some of your previously installed hair,
and make new bonds from it.
* to be clear this has everything to do with how well you take care of your hair at home, how much heat you use, and what kind of heat protectant accompany your daily haircare routine

Everyone shows the “before and after”, but today I’m going to show you the process…(under the hood)
When adding extensions to fine or thin hair,
getting the method and the density correct is the most important thing,
and here we used a “cocktail method”
(meaning mixing two different types of installations)
to grow out the hair of her crown that broke from years of previous bleaching.
I also shifted her hair color from lightning with bleach, to blonding with air-touch highlights, and hair color instead.
This can often be a much gentler color option.
You can still have dimensional color, but with a much more natural result.
This isn’t about the “After” look.
This is about the process that has you growing back your OWN hair, healthier than when you started your hair extension journey.

Just ONE Weft. Period.
Sometimes that’s all you need.
Big impact.
Easier maintenance (than several rows).
If you’re looking for fuller, thicker hair,
(but really aren’t feeling like you’re in your mermaid era),

I get it, you love your hair color, but maintaining your root retouch every 3 to 4 weeks is getting tiring.
What if there was another way?
What if you could keep that soft, blendy, natural looking color, but go closer to 6 or 8 weeks, between touchups?
Grey blending might be for you.
Depending on your hair density, and the percentage of grey hair you have, “grey blending” can often stain your grays and turn them into a beautiful beachy highlight, instead of that monthly an annoyance.

Step 2 : Place your bowl on it and Zero out the scale
