Today, I had a client tell me during her facial, "Oh my gosh, I might cry."

I told her, "That's okay."

She immediately said, "Oh my gosh, that would be so embarrassing."

And honestly? That broke my heart a little.

Because somewhere along the way, we've convinced ourselves that being human is embarrassing.

Let me make something very clear:

When you walk into my treatment room, you are safe.

I don't just mean safe to relax. I mean safe to be a mess.

Safe to cry.

Safe to vent.

Safe to sit in complete silence.

Safe to tell me your marriage is struggling.

Safe to tell me you're exhausted from motherhood.

Safe to tell me you're navigating infertility.

Safe to tell me you're grieving someone you love.

Safe to tell me work is crushing you.

Safe to tell me you're stressed about the state of the world.

Safe to tell me you're carrying so much that you don't even know where to start.

Lay it on me.

For one hour, let me carry some of that weight with you.

Because while skincare is what I do, people are why I do it.
