Some days in the workshop are all about creating the foundation.

Today I spent time carefully preparing our whipped soap base—the starting point for several of our favorite products.

As the ingredients come together, I slowly add nourishing ingredients like Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid before everything is blended into a smooth, creamy base. It's one of those behind-the-scenes steps that most people never get to see, but it's an important part of the process.

On Monday, this whipped base will become our Oat Facial Cleanser Mousse, Activated Charcoal Facial Cleanser Mousse, and our handcrafted Shaving Soap.

Every product begins long before it reaches the shelf, and I love sharing those moments with you.

Before we can make a single batch of soap, there's a day of preparation.

Today was masterbatch day—measuring and preparing our oils so every future batch of handmade soap starts with the same careful attention to quality.

Most people never see this part of the process, but it's one of the reasons every Artesana soap bar is made with consistency and care from one batch to the next.

This large tank is where our oils are gently melted together before we begin crafting each individual soap recipe by hand. It may not be the prettiest part of soap making, but it's one of the most important.

Behind every finished bar is a lot of planning, preparation, and patience—and that's exactly how we like it.

Yesterday, we poured a fresh batch of our Giddy G-Oat Soap Bar. Today, those loaves will be unmolded, carefully cut into bars, beveled, and stamped by hand before beginning their four-week curing process.
