New client, new hair journey, and a completely customized plan.
She came to Studio Meraki experiencing significant hair loss and wanting more than just a quick transformation. We talked through her hair history, what she has been experiencing, her long-term goals, and how we could create fuller hair now while still being intentional about protecting and supporting her natural hair moving forward.

Manage is a strong word.
Between running Studio Meraki, Fortress Security & Alarms, Fort Knox Alarm & Security, clients, employees, schedules, phone calls, content, color, extensions, scalp treatments, alarms, invoices, and whatever fresh disaster decides to show up that day, most of the time I’m just keeping everything moving.
Sometimes things fall.
Sometimes something catches fire.
Sometimes I have absolutely no idea what is happening.
But somehow, both businesses keep running, the clients get taken care of, and we make it to the next day.

I do everything with intention.
I don’t jump on every wellness trend, buy into every supplement, or bring something into Studio Meraki just because it’s popular. If I recommend something to my clients, it’s because I’ve taken the time to research it, understand the sourcing, look at the ingredients, and decide whether I genuinely believe it has a place in the bigger picture.
That’s exactly why I decided to partner with Zinzino and bring their test-based wellness products into Studio Meraki.
Zinzino has been around since 2007 and has Scandinavian roots with a focus on test-based personalized nutrition. One of the things that stood out to me most is their at-home BalanceTest, which uses a small dried blood spot from a finger prick that gets sent in for analysis so you can actually see your fatty acid balance, including your Omega-6:3 ratio, instead of just guessing.
I already work with women who are experiencing hair shedding, changes in hair density, scalp concerns, stress, hormonal changes, inflammation, and other issues that can affect the hair and scalp. I’m not pretending one supplement fixes all of that, because it doesn’t. My goal is to help bridge the gaps where I can and look at the bigger picture instead of treating every concern like it has one simple answer.
